Picking up on Dreamies second point, as it's a good one. I think Gomez will cope with his mistakes a lot better in this back two than he did at right back, reason why is VVD. At right back, whilst it's part of a back four, it's a position that is yours alone to hold, in a back two, I think he's already massively benefitting from basically being guided by VVD, and following his lead, but that'll help him even more if he makes a mistake, VVD will guide him through it, and not allow him to fall into a mistake ridden rut.
