Certainly true in this game. Only player to take anyone on, actually get past anyone, and show any sort of purpose in attack.

Let me preface this by satin I don't think it's as much a problem with Carroll as with how we're using him.

If that was the plan we should have just spent kept our money and we could have run Skrtel up front for the last 5 minutes (or anyone else of decent size).

Kuyt, Downing, and Henderson were invisible or worse. Huge holes in our midfield, not one center midfielder willing to do anything creative.

Suarez was horrible but I'll give him a pass.

Johnson looked like he was bored when he got through on goal for our best chance barring the penalty.
 
Downing, Henderson, Adam, Shelvey... Soft shots. Fucking clueless: no position, no hunger. I don't understand how anybody can rate these kids. Each of them has the turning radius of a fucking houseboat. Make another incisive, cutting, brilliant back-pass you pansies.

Things is Downing is ineffective, because the one player we bought him for gets no game time..
