I thought the ref was excellent.

good subs (maybe should have come on earlier).

My only complaint about the ref was when their guy went down at the start, if it's not a penalty, and he appealed for one, then it's a dive and a yellow card.
Not that it made a difference obviously. And every fucking ref let's them get away with it.

Seriously? Do I have to explain this? Forget about united for a second. City and Chelsea are untouchable the moment when it comes to funds. Arsenal despite losing two of their best players are still in the mix and spurs have arguably a better squad than us. We are in our infancy again. If spurs fuck up royally that is still four other clubs we have to contend with for fourth spot. We can't attract players until we bridge that gap, the type of players that would have won that game for us tonight. I can feel your pain, I really fucking do. I want success and I want it now like everyone else on this board but results like tonight compound the fact that we are a long, long way away. I hope I'm proved wrong, I really do. I hope it all comes together and our starlets break through and all become the next big thing so we can say a big fuck you to the money powerhouses but Its a romantic idea that no longer belongs in modern football.

Might be blind 'optimism' but this is kinda a bogey team, similar on form - 8 from 15 pts in last 5 matches vs our 10 from 15, could've been won if not for the missed penalty and we remain the club with best defence - all these after a whirlwind Tuesday.
