I'd love to see the stats if somebody is able to pull them, but I reckon our meters run stats will show we've been outworked by most teams we've played this season. It doesn't matter how much skill or technical ability a team has, if they are not prepared to work hard any team can bridge that skill gap and beat them.

We've seen this with Man Utd for the last 5 years, highly paid highly sought after players who get out run, out worked and out fought by the opposition. Somebody needs to explain to our players that when you're 1v1 against your opponent he doesn't care how many medals you have or how much you earn he's going to try his best to beat you, if you aren't prepared to match his effort you will lose.

I’ve a close mate who’s a utd fan who would agree with that. They’ve had talent in the squad but nowhere near the hard work, desire and commitment needed. Sadly, that’s changing for them now.
This lot need to know that you can’t just have a fire in your belly and a spring in your step when you’re playing well. It’s the bare minimum.

I don’t doubt for a second that last year’s (do I need an apostrophe there?) exertions have taken their toll to some degree, but not to this extent.

Here is the thing... "I said that the Best we can hope for"... We are 8 points off Newcastle in 4th spot, who we have still to play again.

Secondly, We have some of our best attackers and most influential players to come back,(Jota and Diaz)

Lastly, It is the must unpredictable seasons thus far Chelsea loses to Leeds 3-0, Brentford beat Man Utd 4-0, Southampton beats Chelsea 2-1, Brighton beat West Ham 2-0 Forest 1 The hammers 0, Utd 1 Brighton 2, Villa 1 City 1, Brighton 4 Chelsea 1

What I am saying here is that there as been plenty of unpredictable score lines this season, an away from Arsenal and City no team thus far has be immune for those loses. So 3rd place down is wide open, and with the World Cup in November - December this season and players coming back in the winter Who know who will pick up injures. It is even possible City Arsenal or both could fall away from the top spots and Newcastle could win the title. Any shit can happen

We were out played by teams sitting bottom and 2nd from bottom in consecutive games. They weren't freak results, we were outplayed. I think that needs to sink in and it's not like either of those sides just upped their game against us, we were just that bad. Oh stop being such a fanny, outplayed my arse. Forest was totally a freak result - VvD alone should have scored a hat trick and their goal came off a wild swing that hit the striker's standing leg, bounced off the post and returned straight to him.

Even Leeds, though they deserved their goals, could easily have been a different result if we'd taken our chances.

Forest wasn't a freak result. Ya VVD should have scored at least one but didn't. Forest were shit so probably on the balance of play we would have shaded it but again they were bottom of the league. Apart from set pieces we really didnt create

Yes nunez should have scored when up though but a poor first touch allowed that split second for the keeper to get close enough to block the shot. Leeds didn't only deserve their goals but deserved their win and again weren't even that good, we were just that bad.
These were the 2 bottom teams in the league. They are woefully and yet matched us.

Yeah but that's football isn't it. Could've would've should've. Clearly on balance there should've been only one result, no matter how crap we were, vs Forest.
Leeds very different but it could still have gone either way regardless of the quality of individual chances. Their winner coming when we were throwing everything at it. I'm not complaining the Leeds result was just wrong just that it was a toss up at the end.

Klopp is a far from perfect Manager and the mistakes he makes are I believe more about being too close to the coal face than unwillingness to change his approach or tactics...
Annoying as it can be I would not any other manager at Liverpool

We we were terrible against forest, most of our few chances against forest came after we went behind so at best we might have gotten a draw. It definitely wasn't a freak result.
Leeds win wasn't lucky either, why you like to go on about our chances but ignoring Leeds chances. Nothing lucky about Leeds win. They had better chances overall. League positions matter because they are in that position because they are the worst teams in the league. We should be battering these sides which we didn't.
Salah's goal against Leeds came about from a poor keeping were he came from a cross, didnt get near it and then was totally out of position when the ball came back in.. Not saying he is going to save it but he is totally out of position.
One of the big differences between the forest and Leeds games was our poor deliveries from set pieces. Against forest it was the only way we looked like scoring but against Leeds our crosses we hopeless
