Current squad - as it stands - would probably mean that our first XI for the opening game of the season wouldn't have Lallana in it.

Obviously if Barca get Coutinho, that would change, and if VVD joins then Lovren would be out, but the team as it stands would be:

-----------------------------------Mignolet--------------------------

Clyne-----------Matip------------------------Lovren-------------Milner (Robertson if JM injured)

------------------Wijnaldum------Henderson-------Coutinho--------

Mane-----------------------------Firmino-------------------------Salah

Seems a shame Firmino is guaranteed to start, but that's on Klopp.

Klopp seems to love lallana just as much as firm. I'll be very surprised if lallana doesn't start on the opening day.

Oh yes, I don't doubt that Klopp rates Lallana very highly, but unfortunately, unlike Firmino, Lallana has lots of competition for his place.

Even though it would get us overrun IMO i wouldn't be surprised if both lallana and coutinho both started with either hendo or Can as a midfield 3 against Watford.

I don't believe it personally. How would Monk know whats happening? Plus he said he was going to manure in May. I think many people are more believing out of hope than common sense.
