What's wrong with him? Given a rare chance to start against a lower-league opposition and still so ineffective that he had to be substituted at half time. Most of us didn't see the game, but by all accounts he was worse than Alberto, despite Luis being subbed at half time too. Even Aspas who had a torrid time adjusting to the Premiership is starting to improve and seems like he cares. To the contrary, Moses is showing no signs of life, fight or commitment.

What could be the reason? Moses is clearly a very talented player; I was kind of neutral on his loan deal, never loved him as a player, but naturally I thought he could be at least a little bit useful. Even those low expectations turned out to be massively disappointed. I can't help but think this is some kind of psychological/personality issue; maybe he really didn't want to be loaned out. I remember his face at his first game sitting in the stands at Anfield with Sakho, Ilori and Cissokho - he looked strangely unhappy. Can anybody find this picture? Either he doesn't want to be here (which is still not an excuse to be lackadaisical to the point of unprofessionalism) or he is going through some horrible transition in his personal life, some sort of depression or family trouble. But I don't think he looks as unhappy playing for Nigeria...

Whatever is the reason for this, I think the story of Moses at Liverpool has reached it's conclusion. If he can't make himself useful for 45 minutes against Oldham, he will not help us in future battles. This should be his last game for he club.

Looking back, you have to say it was a strange move to loan out two left-sided players in Borini and Assaidi and then bring in another loan signing to replace them who clearly doesn't want to be here.

Did some other deal fall through and we had to scramble? That process to me doesn't appear to be the result of a long-term plan.

I suppose Moses was bought in on the basis that he could fulfill a variety of roles, but Rodgers was wrong there and it took him far too long to realise Moses wasn't a central attacking player. Or very much of a footballer.

I would end the loan spell now(I might try and sue him to get our money back), I don't have the words to describe how bad he was. There was an instance in the first half were stevie was having a right go at him and he didn't even blink I actually think he was not even listening.

He was soooooooooooooooooo bad it was unreal.

Wow.

His laziness also stands out because the rest of the team are normally working like motherfuckers.

Looks like a major attitude thing. He's a good footballer, he has proved he can score goals and cause problems, so I don't really get it. His head's majorly up his arse for whatever reason.

just got back from the game, he was terrible, duno whats wrong with him but he doesnt give a fuck, duno how he keeps getting games

He seems to be a major miscalculation by the management. Good skill set but brainless as all get out. Looks lazy, too.

I don't do this often... but in this case I'm going to say it: I called it early.

There was something off about the guy from more or less the beginning. I don't like him and I hope he fucks off toute suite.

Considering how quickly we fucked off Nuri Sahin, who at least made an effort when on the pitch, I sincerely hope we fuck him right back to Mourinho. What a lazy, disinterested player ...

To me he just seems lazy and not arsed. When he was at wigan he used to run his balls off. He's not overweight so I can't see what the problem is.
If the squad wasn't so thin I'd have been happy to send him back this window.

It's time to replace Moses with Mohamed.

I'd be just as happy to replace him with Ibe (or any other youngster for that matter). At least he's ours and will actually try.

Send him back to London replacement or no replacement.

I remember the first picture of him (with Illori and Sakho), he looked unhappy, if not miffed at the fact he was there. I tend to believe he doesn't really want to be here. His ticket to Nigeria is guaranteed. He doesn't want to play here long term, so what's the point of giving it your all? Stay healthy n' shit. Pity though, as he's a good football player.

Maybe he needs a better diet, he looks like he's constipated

Fuck me, Coutinho has his cap on backwards in that picture.

Easy way to make yourself look like a complete cock, someone needs to have a word.

he's a strange player, like others have said, he doesn't look like he wants to be here. he has wilted against competition from a 19 yrs old. Having said that his signing seems to have been a double-plus for Sterling who has risen to the challenge after the big contract seemed to have got to him.

He wasn't good enough for Chelsea, and he isn't good enough for us. He's a slightly above average player with a poor attitude. I don't understand why Chelsea bought him, or why we got him on loan. He's simply not good enough and never will be.

im worried with how often brenden keeps bringing him on though, its like every game, still, at least he fucked him off quickly today

At the time it looked like a reasonable piece of business, potentially Sturridge part II, but for whatever reason it just hasnt worked. Thats plain as day now, we need to get rid, whether that means bringing back Assaidi, promoting a younger player to the squad or signing a fresh face I dont know but currently Moses adds nothing to the team

this and this seem to be the sum total of what i saw today. he just had no interest in doing what he's paid for

I don't think this is a "major miscalculation." Carroll and Downing was a major miscalculation. Moses just cost us £1M in loan fee and 6 month of being shit off mostly off the bench. In the large scheme of things, it's a blip.

I just don't understand the possible logic. If he doesn't want to be here, is playing way below your level (compared to how he played last season for Chelsea) and looking lazy and disinterested really the best response? He is weird.
