VfL Wolfsburg is a professional German association football club based in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony. Wolfsburg play in theBundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. Wolfsburg have won the Bundesliga once in their history, in the 2008–09 season, and were DFB-Pokal runners-up in 1995. The current head coach is Felix Magath. The club grew out of a multi-sports club for Volkswagen workers in the city of Wolfsburg and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group.[1][2]

Not really reached the heights since they won the league thanks to their prolific partnership of Grafite and Dzeko, Both now obviously gone, and having just lost mario mandukic this summer to Munich the pressure is really on now to get signings right and try to get back to around the top. The signings of Bas Dost (ex heerenveen? striker), Olic from munich and the return of Diego from Athletico Madrid could be very interesting for them. Entirely dependant on whether both hit the ground running , depends on their chances of qualifying for europe for the first time in a few years, after finishing 8th last year

They've had a similar fuck up with managerial appointments as us. After they won the league Felix Magath (who left in 09) they hired Armin veh, who then was sacked, then interim boss Kostner, then our favourite SCHTEVE took over in July 2010.

Needless to say he was sacked by the february.

Pierre Littbarski took over and was shite, so they've plumped for magath again after he was sacked from schalke over a year ago.

Now with a stabilised team, can they climb back to the top that they were on not too long ago?

Their first game started well in the Pokal. They won 5-0 against Schonberg, with olic getting a hatrick, with bas dost and diego getting the others

Won 1-0 against stuttgart

Very fortunately looking at the stats. Scored in the 90th min (bas dost).

He could be on the way to continuing last season's scoring exploits

Delayed responses but i'm here now

They got butt fucked 4-0 by hannover 96.

haggui, and andreasen scored 1 each, with sobiech coming up with a brace.

Wolfsburg were fucking awful (looking at the stats).

I get ESPN installed on friday so i'm going to make sure to watch the bundesliga highlights or watch their live matches
