Gosh, living in a morgue would be more uplifting than reading Liverpool FC related media at the moment.

Robbie Fowler reckons that Torres and Gerrard will stay.
If we kept them and lost Mascherano for 15-20m plus say Keita or Toure would the outlook be a bit brighter for next year?

If it's true that Wenger offered £14m for Pepe then he's a mentalist. Reina is the least likely to leave of all our top players but if he does it will be for at least £25m.

If we're selling Masch to Barca, we need to get Busquets. I'd take 10 million + Busquets. Keita & Toure are Momo Sissoko like players (Keita will chip in his fair share of goals however) - we need a DM who can break up play and pass well. If they're taking our best DM, we should take their's.

But yes Andy - a bit brighter.

I wouldn't say they're like Sissoko. Both are decent on the ball and have got a good footballing brain.

I'm still a little unconvinced by Busquets and wouldn't like to take him out of his comfort zone.

Of the three (Yaya, Biscuits or Keita) I'd take Yaya, the deal should be Yaya + £20m for Mascher.

I always thought Momo had a footballing brain, it just wasn't used much.

I'd be more convinced that Yaya would bed in well in the premier league and England

Basing that purely on the fact that his brother has spent the past 10 odd years in the Premier league.

Can't see Busquets coming.

Toure has always struck me as a fine player, technically better than he's given credit for by most. Moreover, he's probably physically suited to our league.

He'd also surely consider us given he'd be wanting more playing time and he'd be pretty much guaranteed it here.

I've been a fan of Toure's for a couple of years now.

I really really don't want to lose Masher but, Yaya + A LOT OF FUCKING MONEY would quell my heartache somewhat.

After Busquets got Motta sent off with that Oscar award winning dive and then got caugt on camera looking between his fingers to see what the ref was going to do, I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.

Toure or Keita would be great, however Toure look destined for Arsenal.

The Inter-Barca one last year was about as High-profile as it gets in terms of players and club status

So I wouldn't totally cancel the possibility out, especially as Barca are apparently seriously looking at Mascherano

Liverpool icon Robbie Fowler remains confident Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres will stay at Anfield.

Fowler, now playing in Australia with Perth Glory, is desperate for the good times to return to Anfield.

He told Sky Sports: "I want Liverpool to be the number one club in the world.

"Obviously the current owners have put the club up for sale and for the life of me I can't think why there's no takers just yet.

"You always want the best players and as far as I'm concerned Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are the best players.

"I hope they stay and I can't see them leaving to be honest. I mean they've both come out on record saying how much they love the club and that's good enough for me."

How often do such part exchange deals go through?
[/quote]This seems to have escalated from me saying 'would you take that' earlier. There is no suggestion that Barca even want Mascherano anymore. It's like chinese whispers.
That said IF they did want him, there is no way they can keep Mascherano, Busquets, Keita, Iniesta, Toure and Xavi all happy.

I don't think they want him either. It was more like Mascher whoring himself to Barca out of his lonely little tower.

There's no way she'll be happy in Barcelona, not understanding a fucking word those bloody catalans say.

Mirror I think.

If it actually happened.... I'd expect at least Mascherano to be on his list...
