@Modo , agree on all points regarding Salah. I want to say though, because of Mane and Salah, I am kinda confused by the primary objectives of what we should expect from a left and right winger. For most of my life watching football, I always though the role was about going inside and breaking the lines or on the
outside putting in good crosses, and goal scoring was an occassional thing...so over the course of a season your right/left sided attacking players should get you between 7 and 15 goals max.

I still think thats the primary objective, but Mo winning that golden boot a few times has made him obsessive over scoring goals, so what are we to judge him on now for a contract extension ? I cannot see him doing the stuff I said in the above paragraph as he gets older. Or scoring like previous seasons.

Don't forget the pens and he's shown up around Trent ready to take free kicks too.

Salah is a fantastic player, but when you start putting yourself over your own teammates then something is very wrong. He has zero chance of winning the golden boot this season.
I could never ever see Suarez do what Salah is doing and honestly I can't believe that some are OK with it. He'll probably score a goal next week and everyone will be like "see he scores goals". Well of course but the team could have had double or triple that amount if he just passed the ball.
I just hope Slot has a talk with him, because the players will stop making runs when he has the ball. You can say that it's hyperbolic and all that jazz, but look at the video above, he made probably one of our nicest most generous players ever loose his fucking mind, PUBLICLY.

Yesterday he could have laid the ball on a platter for Nunez or Diaz but he didn't.

He actually doesn't do it as much now as it's not effective anymore. He is sharing the goals though, we often have 3 scorers in decent numbers like when we had Mane and Bobby. I guess my expectations are far less than some people's lofty expectations to defy age. I think you have to face facts, he is very likely to leave this season and Slot likes him. So expecting anything less is going to leave you very disappointed.

His decision-making is usually much better when the result is on the line; we’ve all been noticing him being willing to pass more since last season and statistically he’s been our best chance creator.

In short, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Salah will be fine; Slot’s next big task is rehabilitating Darwin Nunez.
