We've very few options for the front 3 which is my worry.

Downing is a waste of space. I'd rather see Sterling come on than him.

Looking forward to seeing what this Assaidi is like but I'm not sure whether Carroll is a viable option.

We're obviously badly lacking a striker(arguably two) but the full back positions are still cause for concern imo - Johnson and Enrique are neither consistent or reliable and the jury's still out on Kelly, Flanagan and Robinson.

That's debateable... Johnson and Enrique aren't entirely convincing.

I also think we could do with another centre back but it's not a must, not in this transfer window at least.

Apart from that, our squad(well more so starting 11) looks in good enough shape.

Our midfield has the potential to be boss as it is: Allen----Lucas/Sahin----Stevie. With the likes of Shelvey, Henderson, Adam and Spearing all options as well

Front 3 from: Suarez, Borini, Assaidi, Downing, Sterling, Carroll, Cole and hopefully one more new lad.

Fullbacks from: Enrique, Magic, Kelly and Robinson. Sorted.

Seeing as a load of them are either youngsters or unproven talent i guess we'll have to just wait and see how we get on, but it's looking very promising indeed.

I haven't heard any comments from him so I'll reserve my judgement but if we're getting £40 Million and Sturridge I'm inclined to say sell if Torres wants to leave.

I wanted Sturridge as a make-weight back then because I thought he had potential. I've completely changed my mind about him since then when I noticed that he wasn't a team player. I dread to see how Suarez and Sturridge would function together.

Ok, not proven but the promise is there, he's scored goals when he's played for the last two seasons, and looked good at International level too.

Very Happy with Borini, Allen, Sahin, and the Winger. Who knows if all four will work out, but don't have the same level of doubt as last year, when we were signing the 4 British amigos, and you were scratching your head, full of doubts and disbelief wondering what you were missing.

But let's see how it goes. My excitement level is a lot higher now though.
