I think you need to tell someone else than me. So far I've seen 1,81 Wiki, 1,82 Transfermarkt, 1,84 Club Brugge fanpage and 1,82 Club Brugge offal page.
Roopy said 1,84 aswell.
Arright? Not easy iow.
The height factor can be exaggerated.
Of course at 1.84 he isn't exactly a giant, but he isn't a midget either.
There's loads of tall keepers going around like Steklenberg, Al Habsi, Huerelho Gomes for example ... have the height but not the technical & mental aspects to be come truly top class keepers.
Same goes for strikers ... Peter Crouch is a giant and yet can't head the ball with any conviction & very rarely wins headers in the box ... then you look at someone like Tim Cahill who at 178cm height out jumped the tallest of defenders and scored ridiculous amounts of headers. And ppl would have said no way can he get on the end of a cross he is too small.
FYI - Valdes 183cm, Cassilas 185cm.
Reus to Madrid, 5 year contract.
Benzema? Bale? Which one leaves?
So did Assaidi.

Iran are one of the Asian heavyweights as well!Look the youtube says he's the Iranian Messi. That's good enough for me.

I think arm length is more telling than height. Keepers like Courtois who are pretty lanky are at an advantage.
Isn't arm span, and hence length, the same as your height?
Or am I taking DaVinci a little too literally...
Mostly true, but there are definitely exceptions, usually among athletes.I can recall someone showing this to me and being mostly true

Think NFL Wide Receivers or NBA Players. Kevin Durant wouldn't be nearly as good if he wasn't so crazy lanky. Same goes for keepers I feel.
One of mine is tall, didn't apply exactly to him either.Yea one of my mates is really lanky didn't apply exactly to him.

He's been doing quite well in the championshipSo we've recalled Ibe, why? He hasn't exactly been setting the championship alight has he? Hes a better option up front the Borini I suppose.
Generally.
But in the NBA, having a wingspan which is the same as your height is generally considered a poor wingspan. Most of the top players have wingspans that are a good 4-5 inches more than their height.
Lebron is 6'8" with a 7'0" wingspan. Kobe is 6'6" with a 6'11 wingspan. Charles Barkley another - considered massively undersized for the power forward (he was about 6'4"), but he was said to have a 7'0" wingspan.
Kawhi Leonard is the best example today of a freakish wingspan - 6'7" height, 7'3" wingspan.
Draftexpress has a list of average height/wingspan ratios of all players in its database - and you'll find wingspan is generally height + 2/3 inches: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre-draft-measurements/?page=averages&year=All
Actually just checked on the official Aussie National Team site - they give his height as 184cms and I guess they should know !
1.84 is just under 6' 1". So not a midget after all. I'd still prefer a taller keeper, everything else being equal, though.

Pffff. I'm 5'11" with a wingspan of 6' 6". That gives me +7" which as % of my height is 9.86%. Waaay more than Wade whose +7" is only 9.24% of his height and as for that mofo Whiteside his +8.5" is only a tad more at 10.3% of his height. Fecking NBA pussies.
I do have to have custom made long-sleeve shirts though 🙁
Is this you in the middle, Froggy?
