I'm guessing the 352 wiLL be ditched at this stage.

A couple of weeks ago LVG said "at this moment, we have five No9s and four No10s - and we don't have wingers to give us attacking width. Or, I should say, we don't have wingers of the highest level, like Ronaldo or Di Maria or somebody like that"

This was when he asked if he would play his favoured 433 with united.

Guessing we will line up

I noticed your u21s lined up in a 3-5-2 against us last night.

Been setting up like that for long, have they?
 
Sunderland maybe back, get the feeling Wickham now thinks he's a big shot and is angling for a move so they maybe be back.
Transfer window ain't shut yet and some clubs in the bottom half would be desperate to get another striker in.
Hull are also still looking.
 
Di Maria is class and played in the middle 3 for Madrid last season and wide before that.

Its possible, and im just guessing here that perhaps Van Gaal will play more than one formation this year. Maybe rest a player here or there.

He could play Di Maria and Mata behind Rooney, Di Maria behind Rooney and Van Persie, Di Maria and Mata wide in a 4 4 2, fuck maybe even rest one of them once in a while? Radical shit right there.

Hes a class player and would be a big step up for them.

Wow. Seriously ? Di Maria is fucking ace. He'll fit perfectly into 3-5-2 because he works his ass off up and down that touchline, he's fast (something United seriously lack) and he scores a lot of goals. He'll take Valencia's place.

I'm really pissed off if this happens because I was hoping United would get to the end of the transfer window buying only players like Rojo or Vlaar.

That looks much much better than your 3-5-2. Let's hope LvG wants to continue with his doomed 3 at the back.
 
Herrera? Far to early to have him in there. They still have gaping holes in that squad.
Di Maria will improve them no doubt. Very good player.
But 60 mill fee and probably 50 mill in wages. They're mental.

Spent most in Europe now in the last 5 windows and the squad is dysfunctional and lack quality in several places.

They were always going to spend money. The best we can hope for is they blow it, and they have.

He's very good but not 70 mill good. His average is 5 league goals for Real a season.
He'll improve Utd though which is shite.
 
22 goals in 124 games for Madrid in 4 seasons playing alongside super stars, unlikely at scumchester.

Ballbag said close to 70 mill €. Thats about 60 mill £.
And to get him to sign you've probably offered him 250k a week.
Thats 50 £ mill in wages aswell.

Very good player but fucking expencive. Utd needed a signing like that mind. If it goes through.
