The fact that rafa could only get two players in on 6 month loany type things is a very strong indication that a deal has been reached which will lead to an amicable(ish) parting of ways. The owners are keeping their funds so that they can give the maximum to the new coach. Babel wasn't sold because they new coach might like him.

That's what I thought. Well, apart from the Babel bit.

Maxi was a free transfer and has signed for 3,5 years

The only good things about his transfer window were getting rid of Dossena and Voronin...

Can't believe we didn't go for/ 'missed out on' Benni McCarthy and if his motive for going there was seeking first-team opportunities, it seems a rather silly move considering West Ham now have 8 or 9 players in that department. Whereas if he came here, I'd say he'd be our second best forward.

Also, pissed off that we sold a youngster that many on here value, for what, a week of Gerrard's wages...And like Oncy, pissed off that we didn't go for Adam Johnson, a regular feature in a Premiership team for the last 5 years, despite only being 22 and will be a significant part of an England team for seasons to come.

Keane came from a wealthy Irish family. He got a new boyhood club every Christmas.

Those are out of our price range right now. The worst is not getting Victor Moses who went for peanuts. Voronin money you would say. Maybe we're trying to pay the interest payments next year.

You and me both. That and the claim he was trying to do somthings. He's a fucking liar. The club will now leak a report that we were in for Arda but it was just too late to do. Fucking lying sacks of shit.
If we had sold Babel the pussy fucking coward useless mongo twat and signed the Moses I would have been happy, but to turn down 11m for a shitcunt useless twat and then allow two of Englands best prospects to go to Wigan and Citeh for a total of 9.5m is a fucking sham.
This club is bottom to top run by weak shyster shitbag cunts.

It's nice to read a balanced, objective viewpoint on here now and again.

Heh.

So did we get that RB on loan in the end or not?

Don't think so.

I'm sure we "worked hard" but it's a "difficult market", etc, etc.

I heard we sold Buchtmann in order to try and afford the loan fee for Vaseline.

That doesn't bode well.
