aye. tbh i'm such a completely grumpy bastard after a bad result that people just know not to bother with me - i've got no sense of humour about it at all, so even the most giggling imbecile soon gets bored and gives up.

Not really.

It's usually relatives or the wife's friends, and doing that just makes the experience better for them.

Most Mancs I know are shit fans anyway, so whilst the initial barb is annoying it does dissipate after a while.

I am concerned with how the season is shaping up though; I can anticipate a lot of stupid jokes at my expense if we keep playing like this.

To be perfectly honest it's news to me as well but Keni mentioned it somewhere in the match thread, that the commentators never forgot to mention exactly that as it certainly looked like we wouldn't win yet again.
