Tottenham or Chelsea?

So how do you want and why?

Chelsea, because we seem to have the upper hand against them.
We've beaten them home and away in the last 4 games we've played them.
Also, we seem struggle against teams with pace ie teams like Tottenham.

* Also, I think Torres is cursed.

I want Chelsea ... Because I think it should be Liverpool's privilege to lift the trophy so Torres realizes why he plays for a bigger club.

Normally I'd say Chelsea but they, and Torres, seem to be coming into form. Whereas Spurs are waning badly .. so Spurs, we're due a win against them. That said my Dad has supported Chelsea since he was a lad so, as he's 82, it'd be nice for him to see them in another final and if it went against us I wouldn't feel quite as bad because at least he'd be happy !

Results wise Chelsea have been doing better Froggy, but they've not played that much better than their AVB days (imo of course!)

Spurs please.

I just don't want to face the prospect of El Cunt getting one over us.

+

I think the chavs have a slightly better side.

It's a tough one.

Whilst Spurs' pace and movement could hurt us, Chelsea are the more experienced side that are very familar with Cup finals and suchlike.

To be fair, they're two very good teams on their day but so are we so bring em on whoever it is.

Chelsea

I think they're much more suited to us, and we have the upper hand from the last games.

I can't quite decide.

We're generally better equipped to beat Chelsea than we are Spurs, however there are a number of things about Chelsea right now that make me not want to play them. 1 - They're due a result against us and 2 - Torres is starting to find a bit form and well, could you imagine? Yes. And fuck that.

The gods of football owe us a result against Spurs and their prune faced manager. I think I'd prefer them (although I suspect we'd struggle against them as luck would have it that they'd find form just in time to beat us the cunts).

Pass

Either way there's reasons I wouldn't like to play either of them

I'll let the football gods decide

Beating Spurs in the final would be the best thing ever, losing to them would be the worst thing ever, so like Fabio said, let the footballing gods decide.

I really don't get this "they're due a result against us" line, loads of people were saying that about Everton before the game today and look what happened 😀

I really don't think there's such a thing as 'due a result', it's really about who performs best on the day, takes their chances, has a bit of luck of their side etc.

Torres finding form? He's playing much better - yes. But he's still not scoring goals, and passing to teammates when he's got great goalscoring opportunities. He's still a mess confidence wise, and I think playing Liverpool with our fans on his back would fuck him up.

Chelsea. I don't think there's ever much between us, whereas with Tottenham, the potential is there for us to get humped.

We were getting annihilated before they even scored. We didn't turn up and they outclassed us in every way. There is no point pretending it was bad luck, a sending off or anything else.

This is how I remember it as well. We just can't cope with their pace.

A tired Chelsea side, worn down by the Champions League and chasing after 4th, are definitely beatable.
Line up has to be:

----------------Reina

Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique

---------Spearing---Henderson
----------------Gerrard
Maxi-----------Carroll------Suarez

Possibly Kuyt for Maxi.
Some might want Shelvey instead of Henderson, but I really don't feel comfortable having him on the pitch in a final against Chelsea.
