Will they become a small league, moving a few places here and there between them but always be the top 7?

Remember in the mid 2000s the Top 4 was the same top 4 teams 5 out of 6 years.

I have a feeling adding City, Spurs and Everton into this will be the 7 for a good few years.

But where in the 7 will we be , I go 4th next year

We're not guaranteed a spot in the top 7. We were 8th last year.

If FFP is implemented as it should be Chelsea and Man City will come a cropper unless they become a lot more creative in their transfer and contract dealings.

Most experts feel us Arsenal and United will be least affected by it.

United and Arsenal won't budge for the foreseeable future, I don't see Spurs dropping away anytime soon either. Everton seem to be up and down a lot more than the other clubs.

I'm not convinced Everton are there for the long haul as money will become more and more of a factor, Moyes might not stay and even if he does it's hard to keep up what he's doing now year in, year out.

Too huge of a gap to call it a top 7 imo. There's really only 2 or 3 teams capable of winning the league and then theres a handful of clubs capable of getting into the European places. The only reason its up for debate is because we're not in the top four anymore. We're just trying to justify our place as hangers on. If we were in the Champs League spots there wouldnt be a mention of a top 7, it would still be four. We're THIRTY points behind the scum as the table stands while 20 behind Wigan in the final relegation place and thirty behind QPR on the bottom. May as well call it 'the bottom 14'.

I agree with Slugmonster that the gaps too big to classify the clubs in 1 single group as top 7. Basically, its still a group of title challengers and another group fighting for CL qualification.

its top 2 of manure and shitty. then you have a group of 3 consisting of spurs, chelski and arsenal who are challenging for the remaining two spots. Followed by everton and us fighting over the europa cup.

It's a top 5 this season. Utd are miles ahead but there are only 7 points between 5th placed Spurs and 2nd placed City.

12 points behind 4th isnt miles imho.
We should be thereabouts next season.

The target should be 70 points.

LOL I was not specifically saying any of the so called top 7 can win it, just saying I bet the top 7 are the same 7 teams in those positions for a while now

Everton will not go away, Moyles will stay
