That gets said about some of our players too ... It happens ... He seems to be the least physically gifted player but he scores goals with ease ... That's all you want from a striker, and all you get from him.

I really don't get all these jab at Milan players Jules ... I guess it's hard for you to appreciate other players and considering Gattuso for a period of 5 years was one of the best DMs in the world ... I only wish more of our squad had the medal collection he has ...
It's a simple coincidence that they both happen to be Milan players, Wizzy. They also both happen to be players who, whatever their merits, sum up a lot of what I don't like about the game. Not having the Italian connections you do (though as it happens my grandma's family originated in Sicily, so watch your step 😉) I guess I'm just less inclined to give them a free pass.
I understand how any opposing fan hates Gattuso ... He's like an even more aggressive version of Masch ... and I understand why fans rightly hate Pippo (even not remember Athens) ... but we can at least 'respect' what they do, as they did it well.

I dunno ... In his prime, Gattuso was the DM of one of the best teams in Europe. Mascher was phenomenal for us, but now can't even get a game ahead of Sergi Busquets. They're at the same 'level', but you're giving the benefit of the doubt to a player who's 'our own', so I get it! 🙂
