3-1 That russian bloke.

Great break down the left by Bale, and a nice ball in.

This wouldn't have happened if Mourinho was in charge, he knew how to beat English teams consistently
[/quote]

Didn't United twat his Inter?

Bale is awesome right now.

I haven't seen a Premiership winger utilise such outright power/pace effectively (with an end product) for some time.

However, if he got seriously injured and was a yard slower, he wouldn't be half as effective. Nonetheless, he's a freak right now.

Can't believe how shit the Inter keeper was for Spurs third goal

We've had Jonah Lomu, The Rock and Lebron James. But is Gareth Bale the The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment today?

Yep. Not the way that Maicon got raped again, and again, ooooh and again by Bale.

Fucking sublime. It pisses me off that he is playing for Spurs (who will whore him about Europe for a few pieces of silver before pimp daddy Scum come calling) when it was fucking blindingly obvious how talented this lad was at Southampton and Wales. They seem to take a risk, we buy fucking Babel.

It must be no coincidence that bales new pace seems to of arrived since he apparently packed on a stone of muscle. He has bulked up big time. Hope the fuck he does not replace Giggs at utd

I didn't see the game, but have recieved half a dozen texts from Spurs mates claiming Bale to be the world's best footballer and also the founder of sliced bread.

Tell me he wasn't *that* fucking good please?

Oh, and now I'm getting texted by my Spurs mate, who is fucking cock a hoop (or whatever Essex twats say) about beating the European Champions 3-1. Splendid.

Rafa has a fucking LOT to answer to.

He was unreal Ryan.

Don't know about the bread bit

From what I saw Ryan (wasn't the whole game) he was. Maicon needs a new one.

Edit, and can someone fix the fucking SCM clock please?

FC Copenhagen v Barca, easily one of the best games I'll see all Season.

Barca should've ended the game with 9 men. Watch how Valdes Tyson-knockouts N'Doye whom amazingly enough still manages to play the full 90 min. Then Alves stamps Wendt after a little hustle. Abysmal refererring once again.

Good result anyways and Barca almost stole the three in the dying moments.

I don't understand what's happened with Bale. I mean, he was always good going forward, but he's suddenly become lightening quick (he was never a slouch, mind), athletic, skillful, great finisher and amazing end product.

All in 12 months. I don't understand the transformation. He made Maicon look like a fatter, slower Insua. And Maicon is rapid.

Maicon is getting on now though and I think has lost his place in the Brazil side. Still, you're right. Bale never used to have such power and pace. The transformation has been pretty crazy.

I really really hope United don't end up signing him.

They'd sell him to Man Utd I think.

Why?

Why are people panicking over Bale going to United. He would cost them 30million. Do they have that cash?

Because they always do. In recent years they have always acted the big club, but bent over like a cheap whore when offered enough. Berbatov and Carrick are recent examples..."I don't do back door....oooh, how much??"

Depends if the money they have now is enough, problem is that if the players they have think that Spurs are the real deal. Top players don't (usually) leave the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Scum and Arsenal 'to win things' at another Premiership team...do the Spurs players think that yet?

Bale will be at another Premiership club this time next season.

They've never been a top 4 side before though.

The Glazers would probably saction it, but not many more players in the same transfer window - Bebe and Hernandez alone were about 16 million. Problem is that Bale could well be the new Giggs.

True, and never in recent memory been this 'exciting' a prospect before.

How much money do they truely have though, and would they turn down a massive offer? They seem to have bought low, sold high and it's helped them build their team. I'd wager it will happen again.

Where the fuck did they get the money by the way? A few years ago they owned 90% of all British midfielders, they were spunking cash and keeping the lower divisions afloat alone.

Harry Redknapp is a seriously top quality manager, and deserves respect for the job he's done at Spurs.

God that was painful to type:

Hmmm, just watching the goals now. The keeper's positioning for Crouch's goal from Bale's cross was shite. He should have cut out the cross.

"I've just never seen a player do what he does"

Yes Andy Gray you fucking gormless cunt, he's the only player ever to run quickly down the wing with a football.
