I think people are being a quite harsh on KHL here.
It was a pretty horrific tackle to be fair but in my opinion there didn't seem to be the intent on Valdes's part to warrant the punitive punishment that K. advocated.
We all know where KHL is from and that he is not always subjective when it comes to things Danish but in truth is he any worse than the majority on here when confronted with an affront to his loyalties.
Very few of us here are truely objective when it comes to Liverpool football club although we probably all think/try to be. There was a huge uproar this time last year by many of us Irish over Thierry Henry's handball, much of it out of proportion probably, and twenty four years on there are still many English who become apoplectic when the "hand of God" goal is mentioned.
A little bit of patriotism/loyalty isn't necessarily a bad thing and I don't think KHL should be crucified for it, especially if he realises that he often looks at things, understandably so, through Danish tinted glasses.
He is a great poster and while he should know better than to rise to it, he doesn't deserve to be baited either.
Whispers to KHL- stop biting on the hook and they will just stop fishing after a while

Cheers mate much appreciated.
To be quite frank though this particular incident had nothing to do with my allegiance for FC København whom I follow closely but merely as a general fan of footy more than anything else.
I was simply left disgusted by Valdes' lack of respect really and then having to read posters silly agenda-ridden responses afterwards annoyed me a bit. I know I should've stayed well clear as you said so I kind of asked for it meself.
I am biased however. This is a football-fora though and I'd suspect we all are somehow.
*Just read ILDs and Dmishras replys too, which obviously are equally appreciated. I'll try to tone it down a bit then as I'm certainly not going to harm me Internet-rep on here any further.
**Crawls back into redandwhite-painted shed..... (it's Liverpools colours too you know)!!

I can't help but wonder if you're referring to me, but if you are, my views have been made clear.
I thought it was a very reckless,, and he certainly wouldnt have had cause to complain had he been sent off.
Had it been a Liverpool player who'd been clattered, I certainly would have been screaming for a red card and a ban and whatever.
I suppose the issue is whether from the abgle of attack Valdes wsa going for the ball or the player.
There was no such margin in Schumacher's incident.
Just because someone doesnt agree with you doesnt mean they have an agenda.
