Other Games - Dec 7th/8th

I dont think Levy looks at it that way. But yeah, Ange is perfect for them. Mediocre manager for a mediocre club.

Ange is cooked. Levy will no doubt be speaking to people. He'll be conscious West Ham will be doing similarly.

Frank and Potter both have Spurs appointments all over them, but moreso Frank. Potter is too defensive-minded whereas Frank is more pragmatic and palable to their fanbase.

Terzic will end up in the PL before long, too.
Potter too defensive for Spurs?

The same Spurs who hired Mourinho and Conte, that Spurs?

No compensation to pay for Potter he’s the perfect choice for Levy

Yeah but their fans hated mourinho and conte. They'll definitely hate potter.

It's hilarious Lampard's name keeps coming up.
He flopped Chelsea (twice) and Everton, what more does it take to convince everyone he is not all that hot. The world class Dyche is still in the job after replacing the bugger. Some random bald guy is managing Chelsea and has done better than he ever did.

Levy admitted both were a mistake and be regretted changing the Spurs style of play, hence going after attacking managers since, so I wouldn't expect another defensive coach since.

"They [Mourinho and Conte] are great managers, but maybe not for this club. For what we want, we want to play a certain way and if that means it has to take a little bit longer to win, maybe it's the right thing for us. “And that's why bringing Ange in was, from my viewpoint, exactly the right decision.”20 Sept 2023

Don’t hate me, but I have a soft spot for Spurs - many reasons, from their early-mid 80’s team and one of the nicer supporters groups I’ve looked after in my old pub days.

I like that they strive to play attractive football, but not nearly as much as I love their ability to go full Spursy and fuck things up - it’s a never ending source of joy - not quite in the Man Utd being shite joyful stakes, but up their.

Maybe they can have a domestic cup at some point… I’d rather them than City, Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea.

Big Flange should go manage Rangers so him and BRodgers can go toe to toe for “glory”.

I hate you

El sackico tonight.

Gomes, Kudos and Ait Nouri all having miserable seasons after being vaguely linked with us.

Do teams not have players on the line anymore for corners?

Anyway, taxi for O'Neil.

That was 100% a pen on Guedes by Emerson, VAR is a farce.

& that's a quality goal from Doherty, nice cross by Ait Nouri.

Bowen is a quality player, another great finish.

Anyone watching the Wolves game ? - a few players from Brazil - I remember the days when a single player from that nation would make a huge difference to any team. Look at the state of them now - fucking terrible - all of them.

Please, I really hope we dont sign Kerkez. He is so average, if thats what 40M buys you then I am more than happy to use one of our youths.

Yeah , bit worried by these links to Frimpong, but watching Bournmouth tonite the driving force in their midfield seems to be Semenyo
