If silencerom is installed properly then you should have headings like sports tv films etc, under the headings there are submenus for the relevant add ons. Pick one & browse.

Cheers FFF. I've got all of the headings,etc. showing up but when I try and open a channel (Sky Sports 1 for example) it says working and then nothing opens... maybe I've done something wrong so I'll go back and reinstall.
If you've added Phoenix properly, go to video -> add-on

Change "Settings level" at the bottom to "Advanced" - this will reveal a few new menu entries on the left, including "Acceleration". Go to that, turn off video acceleration if it's enabled.
Personally, I find that Kodi's interface leaves a bit to be desired. Too much fussing about clicking here and there. Maybe there's a better interface add-on somewhere, but I use it just now and then so it's tolerable.

Or just install the 'Fusion' add-on, which allows you to simply choose video add-ons and install them via the kodi guy. Tried it today, and it was very very simple from there on.
