This weekend's other games

Our attacking play is slow laboured and just not good enough yet. Rooney in particular and probably the cause of much of it has been shocking. Touch, passing and just general energy on the pitch
, woeful standard.
We seriously need another attacker who will get the goals because what we have at the moment isn't enough.
Don't know if Pedro is the solution but it has to help.

Defensively as a unit we look solid. We have only added Darmian (surprised at just how good he is) but with Shaw now starting they are giving the CBs far more protection. The improvements at full back as well as far more cover from Schneiderlin means we won't concede many this season. If d
we do manage to hold on to De Gea we may end up with the best defensive record this season.

Good awful to watch but 3 more points in the bag. Hopefully we can improve the attacking play from here.

Schneiderlin and Darmian are two very good signings.

As I pointed out to a Utd supporting mate. Rooney is on the decline and I dont think he's got what it takes to play as a lone striker in that 4-3-3. Depay also looks like he'll need time to settle.
You might end up struggeling to score goals if another striker isnt bought.

I doubt De Gea will contribute to much given the latest falling out.
Romero hasnt been tested much but he looks dodgy.

Villa were awful and will be in and around the relegation zone.
Amavi looks a fucking steal though. We'll sign him for 20 mill next summer.

Everton 1-0 up, Lukaku with a good header in a counter attack straight from a Southampton corner. Terrible amateur hour stuff from Southampton there, and of course, I've got Fonte in my fantasy footie team.

Nearly 2-0 there - Barkley missing a wide open chance. Southampton's defence isn't looking anything special now. Missing Forster, Classie and Bertrand, losing Schneiderlin, Clyne and Alderweireld - maybe successive seasons of losing players have finally started to bite.

You forgot Lovren

Southampton looking woeful. 2 good goals, but Southampton are making Everton look good.

3-0. Sweet goal by Barkley. Everton have been impressive today.

Yep they have. And deulofeu just coming on too. Why are they in that awful away strip though? Admittedly I'm watching on a dodgy TV in Penang but it looks like turd colour

Soton look shocking. Must be the new Everton away kit that makes the Soton players ill or something

I could swear the setanta commentator has just said "Fodded away by Newcastle" after a headed clearance.

Sunderland fans leaving the stadium already.
Pretty pathetic but normal for a north eastern club with notions of themselves.

West Ham 2-0 down at home against Leicester, and I've got Creswell in my fantasy footie team. I swear I put defenders in my team and curse them.

Oh no... I've got Clyne too this week.

Anyone else find themselves wishing someone would drive a pickaxe into Garth Crook's skull?

Meanwhile, in the forgotten game of the week, Watford seem to be bossing their visitors, West Brom: 62% possession, 8 shots (3 on target) to 3 (none on target). Com'on Berahino, do something!
