Stoke v West Ham 1-1 at the moment. Pennant supplied the cross from which Kenwyne Jones scored, so that's sort of made in Rafaland. Pennant is now off with a hamstring injury.

I can't really get my head round the idea that Eidur Gudjohnsen is playing for Stoke City.

That's a pretty shocking start to the season for the Bitters, who were tipped by many (including Baconface) to break into the top 4

So at least our unlovely small club neighbours are having a worse start than us
