They are going to play him injured

His form is on fire, Rooney is injured and it's World Cup year...

To be honest this is the perfect opportunity for Daniel to make that England spot permanently his and if I were him, I'll die to be playing too.

I'd like to register the fact I UNLIKE this post. He should be dying to establish himself at his club and become the best striker in the league. The rest will follow. Risking his fitness to play for England is not fucking on.

He certainly shouldnt be playing the first game. We could win that with Daniel Radcliffe up front.

He's gonna break down and not be fit for Swansea, you can just see that happening. I don't understand how he gets injured so regularly. He's only just come back from the last injury. maybe his body isn't strong enough or something.

He almost missed the entire pre season thanks to them. The least they could do is rest him for the first game.

I am liking this post so that I can register the fact that I UNLIKE Hyena's post as well. Unless Hyena is actually trolling, in which case I still UNLIKE it, but not quite as vehementally.

It slipped my mind that he got injured with them cunts. Fucking tools down Studge and get back to the Independent Republic of Merseyside.

I wonder how his England career will go? Too many players seem plagued by an inability to do it at International level for us, particularly strikers. I think he might break the mould and tear it up.

He's gonna want to play. Good for him. Anyways he can beat the mancs without being able to shoot, he'll probably piss one in against Swansea. It's been a week. He'll be fine.

Anyways it wasn't like Brodgers dragged him off after an hour or anything. He can't be that bad.

The Football Association have confirmed Daniel Sturridge has returned to Liverpool for treatment on a thigh injury.

The striker will miss England's World Cup qualifier with Moldova at Wembley on Friday evening, but will link up with the Three Lions again prior to next week's trip to Ukraine.
An FA statement read: "As Roy Hodgson prepares his England team to face Moldova on Friday evening, Daniel Sturridge has returned to Liverpool for further treatment.
"The squad departed St. George's Park on Thursday afternoon ahead of the World Cup qualifier at Wembley, but the Liverpool forward will return to his club with the intention of joining the England squad again at the weekend and travelling to Ukraine."

I hope we report that the injury is more severe and that he needs to stay for more "treatment".

[article=http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/sep/05/england-frank-lampard-roy-hodgson?]Wayne Rooney is already missing and the latest prognosis on Daniel Sturridge is bleak, with the striker ruled out against Moldova and Hodgson admitting he is "not confident" of him playing in Kiev either. The initial scan on Sturridge's thigh strain had, according to the England manager, rated him as "touch and go" not just for Tuesday but also for Liverpool's next game against Swansea the following Monday. Against that backdrop it is a surprise his club have not withdrawn him already.[/article]

Daniel Sturridge injury update

7th Sep 2013 - Latest News

The Football Association have announced Daniel Sturridge will not be fit for England's World Cup qualifier with Ukraine on Tuesday.

The Liverpool striker missed Friday's win over Moldova after returning to Melwood to undergo treatment on a thigh injury.
England had hoped to include Sturridge in the travelling party for the trip to Ukraine, but he'll instead now remain on Merseyside.
An FA statement read: "The FA can confirm that Daniel Sturridge will not return to the England squad ahead of the World Cup qualifier with Ukraine on Tuesday.
"Club England medical staff have been in constant contact with their counterparts at Liverpool Football Club since he returned there on Thursday, his injury has not progressed as had been hoped and it is now clear that Sturridge will not be fit for the match in Kiev on Tuesday evening.
"No additions will be made to Roy Hodgson's squad of 23 players who travel to Ukraine on Sunday evening."

I like this post because it's got the word "vehemently" in it.

Then I unliked the like because it was spelt wrong.

I like that you used the word "unlike" correctly unlike the others who used "unlike" to express their dislike .

The Liverpool doctors were probably like

'yeah, sorry Roy, he's never gonna make it, the poor fucker can hardly walk'
*hand over phone*
'yeah, sorry Daniel, that 1000m run was a couple of seconds slow, we told Roy & he won't risk you'

'you still there Roy?, no chance he can play at all, sorry'
