If Agger goes its because the club are trying to generate funds. It's not Agger looking for the move. We've been linked with Godin as a replacement.

I'm sad that Adam has deteriorated so badly here. He looked a decent little player at Blackpool (yes, he was surrounded by mediocre players, but that's usually cited as a plus when people champion Gerrard as LFC's best player), and I thought he'd do a fairly good job for us for a couple of years. He's gone backwards, and seemed strangely resigned to it. A very unfortunate episode for both parties.

His set pieces started so well too, as time has passed one of his main attributes has become one of his main weaknesses

Excellent summary. I had hopes for him too, but they just haven't been realised.

Yeah, you can see he's a good player though, he's got a great pass on him, it's all the other stuff, he's just not that intelligent in his defensive play and give away needless fouls constantly, he seems to tire easily aswell. Even today, he was the only one in the second half out of him and Henderson who looked positive when he had the ball, always looking to move forward with it and play a forward pass, if Henderson had half of his positivity when on the ball he might be a good player. As it is..... I really don't see Adam staying and I've got a feeling Henderson's going to be hard pushed to get a game, especially if we buy/loan another midfielder.

Sahin is a seriously exciting signing. With the arrival of Allen and Sahin our midfield quality will jump a few notches.

Wasn't this one of the issues that led to him getting bombed out of Rangers in the first place - started off good, they had a change in manager,a nd he went to shit very quickly.

I think he'd one of these players that thrives at "smaller clubs" and, for whatever reason. doesn't handle the "big club" pressures.

He is the new Danny Murphy and Fulham would be perfect for him.

Macca latest...

"There is also a good chance Adam will go and Demspey will come in..

Look maybe City will not come with a new offer but i believe the owners think that if they sell Carroll for 18 mil then they can offset the loss with the profit from Agger..

Again things can change but i believe it will be a good transfer window for us..

Also i have no news on Aggers replacement (if it happens).."

Lets hope City wont comeback with an improved bid.
Although with Mancini bashing Marwood they might spend a few bucks extra.

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has revealed they are in talks to sign to Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
Italian champions Juventus are keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season and have been linked with Arsenal's Robin van Persie and Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
However, it appears they are close to striking a deal for Spanish international Llorente, who is entering the final year of his contract at Bilbao.
The 27-year-old, who has been chased by a host of clubs across Europe, has so far refused to sign a new contract at San Mames and Juve are hoping to persuade Bilbao to do a deal.
Marotta has admitted negotiations are ongoing with Bilbao, but a deal is not easy as Bilbao do not want to lose their star striker.
"We are negotiating to bring Llorente here, but it's not an easy process because Athletic don't want to sell him," Marotta told Tuttosport.
Llorente has a near £30million release clause in his contract, but Juve are hoping to land giant forward for a lower fee.
