Wolves today confirmed that they have rejected another bid for winger Matt Jarvis and bids for goalkeeper Dorus De Vries.

This follows confirmation earlier this week of turning down several bids for striker Steven Fletcher.

“As we have previously stated, no player will leave Wolves unless the Club’s valuation is met and it is in our best interests from a football perspective,” said CEO Jez Moxey.

“We wish to retain our best players, we are not under any financial pressure to sell. Players will remain here unless we receive satisfactory offers.

“These are challenging situations for all parties but we will continue to conduct our business in a respectful manner and will honour all of our commitments. We hope, and expect, other parties to do likewise.”

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis has handed in a transfer request at Molineux.
The 26-year-old has become the second player this week to officially make a request to leave, following on from Sunderland target Steven Fletcher.
Jarvis has been the subject of rejected bids from West Ham, whilst Stoke and Fulham have also been linked with his services.
Now the Middlesbrough-born winger has made his position clear and he wants to be back in the Premier League next season.
Jarvis has one eye on his international prospects, having already gained one England cap last year.

Unless he starts using personal pronouns - I'm not going to believe it......

Ligue 1 club Rennes have received a bid from a Premier League club for defensive midfielder and Arsenal target Yann M'Vila, the club's chairman has confirmed.

An as yet unnamed club have put forth an offer for the 22-year-old in an attempt to bring him to England's top-flight.

M'Vila has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent times, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger ruled out any chance of the Amiens-born player making his way to the Emirates back in July.

Chairman Frederic de Saint-Sernin has confirmed an official bid for the France international has been received by Rennes, but a decision on the youngster's future has yet to be decided.

"He has a very concrete offer from England," Saint-Sernin told Canal+ after his side’s opening day loss to Lyon on Saturday.

M'Vila joined the Ligue 1 outfit aged 15, and has made 110 first-team appearances for the French club since making his professional debut in 2009.

Tottenham are rumoured to be the bidding club with an offer of €12 million
A replacement for Parker then.
Spurs spending a fair bit on up and coming players this season.
I guess either Bale of Modric is off.

I believe so, but my (perhaps over-cynical) guess was that that was to protect his eventual purchase price. It's not nailed on either way though.

Sahin is very close to signing..

I also hate to say it looks like Agger will leave, the club are expecting City to come back with an improved offer which could include Johnson..

Also we are stepping up our efforts to sign Walcott..

Faaack, lets hope City move on.

Sahin is 'loan' or delusional signing?

Agger - unless we have a proper back up, it's stupid ... I'll do with Downing for a year over no Agger and Adam Johnson.

Walcott - no, let those minutes go to Sterling and/or Suso.
