The not confirmed, it's really only a rumour transfer thread ;Summer 2012

Rob Jansen, the agent of Ibrahim Afellay, said the Netherlands international has no intention of leaving Barcelona.

The winger has been linked with clubs such as Arsenal and Inter in the past few months, but he is happy with life in Spain and is keen to prove himself in Catalunya, according to Jansen.

"People should not take all these rumours about an imminent transfer too serious," Jansen told Voetbal International.

"Leaving Barcelona is not an option at this point. Ibrahim is feeling very well at Barca and is getting playing time.

"It's true that there's plenty of interest, but that's always been the case. There's absolutely no reason for him to leave the club.

"Can we completely rule out a summer exit? You never know in football, but it's highly unlikely that he will leave Barcelona."

The 26-year-old joined Barcelona from PSV in January 2011, and has since made 20 La Liga appearances for the Catalans.

Afellay missed a large part of the 2011-12 campaign due to a knee injury, but made his comeback towards the end of last season.

Maybe he wants to go Gary, maybe he hasn't even gone.

I want to be a millionaire mate, doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

As it stands now, Bellamy's under contract at LFC for another year so we're under no real pressure to sell.

We've lost Kuyt and Maxi, and Carroll could be on his way too so we're leaving ourselves really short in that area, yes replacements can be got but who's to say they'll be better considering we don't have much £ to spend.

We really need to keep him imo.

Striker Matias Suarez pursued by Arsenal and Liverpool

Collapse of CSKA Moscow deal has Premier League clubs eyeing Belgian player of the year

BY Bill Mann LAST UPDATED AT 07:16 ON Tue 7 Aug 2012
THE NEWS that Matias Suarez's move to CSKA Moscow has died a death has put both Arsenal and Liverpool on alert. According to Talksport the Anderlecht striker had been on the brink of joining the Russian outfit in a £11.3m deal but that was before the 24-year-old Suarez failed a medical.
Why he failed isn't clear, but it doesn't appear to have deterred either of the Premier League clubs. Talksport reports that Suarez, who collected the Belgian player of the year award last season, has been on Arsenal's radar for a while but it's believed new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is particularly keen on Suarez (no relation to Luis) and an offer could be in the pipeline.

Yeah I guess you are right.

PS Why did the Agger don't thread get shut down? Pretty annoying, unlock it please and take your bickering somewhere else. The thread was and is about Agger not about who's allowed to be more of a twat than the next man.

Here we go again:

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 - Italian giants, Juventus are plotting to test Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers’ resolve to hold on to their most prized asset, Luis Suarez, with a substantial bid.
The Turin based club had identified Arsenal striker, Robin Van Persie as their top transfer target but it seems the Gunners captain is likely to remain in England with Manchester United being taunted as favourites to secure his signature.
However Van Persie seems to have changed his mind to stay at Arsenal after apparently being impressed by Arsene Wenger’s new signings.
Arsenal have already secured the signature of Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and are in advanced talks to sign Spain midfielder Santi Carzola and Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin.
Juventus are keen to bolster their attacking options after a successful season where they won the Serie A title unbeaten and hope to mount a serious challenge in Europe.
The Uruguay international had a turbulent season with Liverpool where he was slapped with a massive 8 game suspension after he was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra.
However, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is unlikely to let Suarez leave Anfield after he revealed his intention to let out of favour England striker Andy Carrol leave Anfield.
With Fabio Borini being the only acquisition of the summer so far and defender Daniel Agger linked with a move away to Manchester City, Rodgers has a tough balancing act up his sleeve.

Wont happen.
Why not? We've shown that we have no balls and are a selling club. Most probably sell him and buy fletcher as his wages will be lower. All we are seeing is plenty of potential out goings and nothing coming in. Rodgers said he is in full charge of the transfers so he better have some good bloody players coming in otherwise being in the top half of the table will be a miracle.

I'll be amazed if we even give Juventus the time of day over this, especially after the way they dicked us around over Aquilani.

Shouldnt you be locking the thread and telling people to shut the fuck up instead of being funny?

😉

We're not going to sell Suarez. Even we're not that stupid.

Agger going is more likely. We're not involving him in any matches, which looks like we're trying to keep him fit whilst we negotiate.

Ok. You win.

id take 50mill for suarez defiantly, at least if it wasnt from a prem club, but i guess its more about how we would spend the money than th amount we get, so who knows

Agger does not want to join City so fingers crossed that will not happen and he will stay..

Tello is a loan target..

Sahin is also a target, it will be a straight fight with Arsenal.

Demsey is on going with Adam used as a makeweight, could drag on..

Allen will sign (i personally think he will be a great player.)

Carroll has gone quiet and could possibly be subject of a last minute bid from Newcastle..

Walcott is a target..

Hope this helps...

Cheers
