I'm the same, my lad just installed it today funnily enough and asked had I been on it. I can't motivate myself now I haven't got days to just sit there doing fuck all, and the game is so long winded, I find myself not being arsed loading the game to take about 20 minutes to just go through the emails and play one game.

I'll try though.

I bought the latest FM a few months ago - having not played it for about 10 years - and I was fucking lost. They've absolutely ruined that game - it's ridiculously involved. Who in their right mind wants to micro-manage training for every single player? They'll have you deciding on the menu in the staff canteen in the next version. Waaaaaay too much like hard work.

getting back to the main topic - does anyone have a clue whats going on with our transfers ? what are we trying to achieve in this window ? Clearly Brendan is trying to create a team of his own somehow with limited funds (well at least with some degree of control without lavish spending like last season).

1) First of all I don't understand why we are not going for another striker if Carroll has got to go, we saw how bad we are in front of goal on Saturday, no real improvement from last season.

2) We signed Osama (spelling I know but it will do) who is a winger yet we are now going for Adam Johnson, which makes me think Downing's days are over (most of you maybe happy with that). We are paying huge wages to a potential winger in Joe Cole who is injured again and looks like its just pure bad luck and the guy needs to be somehow moved on before he bankrupts the club.

3) We also tried to get Sahin on loan, which indicates we are in the market for a midfielder of some kind, not sure the type of midfielder though. Now theres all these rumours of a 30-year old washed up Kaka coming to Liverpool who is injury prone and will probably not last 10 minutes in a PL game. Add to this we can't get rid of Adam becasue just to show that the first year at LFC where he showed he was not upto it was not a fluke, he wants to stay and really show he is ACTUALLY shit. Then there is the 16M missing Jordan Henderson who as some have pointed out hides in games, and is now hiding at the club somewhere so well that people have hardly noticed.

4) then there is the side issue where everyone keeps associating us with Dempsey yet we say we are not interested or just keep silent on the matter.

What the fuck does all that shit mean ? I can only work out from it that we are in the market for 3 players:-

A. Johnson, Dempsey (because like a woman who has been dicked hard we just keep saying 'no no no', meaning 'oh yes'), and some Midfielder (defensive, attacking - fuck knows).

Are seriously comtemplating NOT getting another striker ? - seriously this cannot happen. Someone help me and give me hope that things will improve.

P.S - Didn't bother mentioning if Agger is going to be sold or not or is he going to sign that Barca loving player.
