Heh, you used to bang on about him big style mate!
Dawson? I've never rated him, the only average Premiership defender I remember advocating for a while was that blurt from Newcastle, Taylor.

Actually Verdana but I also like the default font in Visual Studio 2010 named Consolas.
Seriously I know I sound a little immature but when themn decides to abuse every post I make with abuse - I can only respond with like immaturity as it maybe the only thing that 16 year old understands.
Scott Dann was the worst suggestion since someone suggested Anton Ferdinand about 5 or 6 seasons ago. Actually I think it was more than a suggestion I think we did actually bid (or at least enquire about him). He was abysmal last season and most Blackburn fans don't want him as a regular starter in The Championship! Also re Taylor - Oncy was big on that clown too for a while. And JonFox was all over Scott Dann for a while as well.
I've a photographic memory for SCMers championing shit defenders I do.
Will. Never. Happen.
Have. Some. Faith.
Yeah i was. Also re Taylor - Oncy was big on that clown too for a while. And JonFox was all over Scott Dann for a while as well.

Yup, 9m fee agreed
Oh and that's the first summary of a post that's longer than the initial post
Quite so.I thought Scott Dann was the next carra. How fucking wrong was I?!
Ah well. I also thought David James was the best keeper I'd ever seen before he broke into the first team & seemingly forgot how to deal with a cross overnight.
I'm sure there's countless other I've gotten wrong too. There's no shame in it.
Miralem Pjanic’s agent has confirmed Tottenham made a proposal, but “both Roma and Pjanic politely declined the offer.”
Reports emerged today that Spurs had prepared a €15m bid for the 22-year-old midfielder as a replacement for Real Madrid-bound Luka Modric.
“It is true. Tottenham made a move for him, but both Roma and Pjanic thanked them for their interest and politely declined the offer,” representative Michele Gerbino told TMW.
“This is not the time to move or consider any other offers. The lad has tied himself to this project and first of all wants to do well at Roma.
“Besides, the club locked him down. Basically, he will not be moving. Pjanic had a very positive year, adapting easily to Serie A and you can see that from how quickly he learned to speak Italian. He’s very happy at Roma.”
Llorente, the Spain international forward, looks certain to quit Athletic Bilbao this summer and has received a number of offers from across Europe. However his agent, Carlos Arino Bajo, told the Daily Telegraph yesterday it is “very, very possible” the striker will be on his way to England.
"Tomorrow [Wednesday] Llorente will speak to his destination,” Arino Bajo told Telegraph Sport. “It is very, very possible he will decide to go to the Premier League. I don’t know the [choice of] club at the moment but there are two [interested] clubs. One is in London, and one is in Manchester.”
Arino Bajo refused to identify which clubs have made contact with the player. However it is clear there are other interested parties: the agent had previously confirmed to the Italian daily Corriere dello Sport that Juventus were among those to have made a play for Llorente.
Intriguingly none of the London or Manchester clubs would disclose an interest on Monday. It is possible that if any do covet the forward they would prefer to maintain a public silence until they are aware of his intentions.
Much-flouted transfer regulations stipulate that clubs must first reach agreement with existing employers before approaching the player himself. That first regulatory hurdle is unlikely to have been cleared so far: Bilbao have until now responded to any approaches by stressing that there is a €36 million buy-out clause in his contract.
However, as the transfer window advances towards closure it is likely English clubs have calculated that Bilbao’s negotiating position may weaken considerably amid an unfolding Spanish financial crisis.
I said to my brother last week "what's the point in QPR signing good players like Park, Hoillet, Bosingwa, Cisse etc when they still pick Ferdinand and Gabbidon at CB?" Neither of these 2 are Premier League quality. Dawson & Carvalho added to their squad would see them finish comfortably mid-table.Carvalho to QPR on loan according to SSN sources.
