Thought he played well yesterday. Scored a goal and won a penalty (that would have been given in the real World).
The referee was poor. Not all European refs are better than our lot, iffy though they are.

If he adds more goals this game then he's keeping Jota out easily for me.
Jota when fit walks back in...(Obviously)if it works out great but i’m going to call talk of darwin displacing jota premature
I don't know if thinking is his best ability. The harder it is for Darwin to score he will do it..
If he as to do a triple somersault with pike, two reverse backflips double tuck and a spinning overhead kick he will score everytime
I believe the more time that he has to think about what he wants to do the worse the result.
Yep. A little refresh if there was a player we were considering for the summer which we could get in earlier. Just don’t be buying someone for buying sake.Do you think with Jota's injury and Darwin's tendencies, there's an argument for adding a striker in January?

It was not just him all the front men cost us last season, can only forgive Salah due to his first injury with us in 7 seasons. But Darwin, Diaz, Gakpo, Jotta - all of them fucked up in those final few games, remember what PepG was said..." Cannot beleive it Liverpool missing goal and there is no goalkeeper..." - thats the level we are looking at in terms of missed chances. Klopp trained a title winning team based in energy/running and chaos , but the front men did not deliver at the end.I just don’t think we are winning the league in a world where we rely on goals from Darwin. Or where he plays regularly for us. It could be argued he cost us a title tilt last year.
That leaves us with 3 strikers who can score more often than not
It could only be argued if you ignore all the times we went behind early doors and stupid goals the defence gave away.It could be argued he cost us a title tilt last year.
I will be honest - I don't want to lose him because I think those other qualities are great to have in a team especially in a striker. Also if we look at the strikers across South America - he stands out more than anyone - that is an asset - and we all know if he went to Spain/Germany - he would be guaranteed a 40GA striker a season. Can't remember who said it this weekend (an ex-pro) but it went along the lines of "all the ex-pros love him, his passion, his pace, his non-stop energy and his defensive contributions ... if only he could finish Liverpool would walk the league."
The question isn't his 'lack of' goals, it's whether his other attributes contribute to us winning games more often than not. Now that is a discussion.

Yes last season. This season the others have surely improved their goalscoring no? (Cody, Diaz). Darwin, still hit or miss.It was not just him all the front men cost us last season, can only forgive Salah due to his first injury with us in 7 seasons. Said it in another thread. Darwins weakness is his brain. It looks like a simple fix for Darwin, he just seems incapable of slowing himself half a pace before a shot, it's obviously not simple though as the best coaches in the world can't get him to do it, frustrating.
Gyokeres please.
