Thanks for everything, Sunny.

I actually did have a bus ticket to go to the hotel, but Sunny insisted on giving me a lift since getting the bus on Sunday night was apparently very difficult.

I'm in your debt, mate.

Anyway, the match was horrid, as anyone watching would know.

Oh, KHL.

Poulsen was a pile of dogshit and if he dies tomorrow, I'll drink to his departure.

Just thought you should know.

Not many players were much bettery but Poiulsen reached levels of shiteness I never knew were possible.

Only Johnson could come anywhere near his shiteness.

The game was an exercise in pain, but for some reason I don;t feel as bad as i thought.

The main reason is because I spent the afternoon drin king with a bunch of Reds in the King Harry..I tried buying drinks, but I ended up receiving drinks from people I didnt even know.

For every round I bought, I think I received about 3 drinks from everywhere.

From Irishman to Englishmen to God Knows.

A special hello to a wonderful unflappable man named Bob who was OKI despite watching the shit and who looked at the game with almost a zen-like quality.

Props also to Charley and the Irish people and Peter.

Even to the Manc who came with the Irish.

One stranger bought me drinks simply because I 'drove from NOrwich tro watch this shite'.

Thanks, mate.

Anyway, I've just met my wife and she's shocked that my mood is good even though we've lost to a pile of shit.

(although the said pile of shit was far more deserving of the 3 points than we were)

I suppose sharing the pain helps.

Hopefully we get better, but Roy is doling the same exact shit as Rafa and deserves all the flak he gets..

Anyway, it was nice to meet Sunny.

It was a bit unnerving at first since I tried calling him but I couldnt get through to him on the phone.

Eventually I went up to the tallest man in the harry and said 'Sunny'?

It was.

That was a lucky break.

And yes, Sunny is every bit as tall as he's sounded.

It was ace to meet him and his missus, and it was really nince of them to give me a lift.

But again, it's not surtprising at all because thats what people in liverpool are like.

I was having dinner last night and wanted some ketchup.

One guy at the next table noticed me looking and came over with ketchup, salt and pepper because he guessed I might need some.

Today has been a shit day since we lost.

BUt I met members of the Red family at the King Harry and it doesnt feel so bad.

Good nite all.

I feel shite at the moment Sam. Truth be known though - Avvy's a sound lad a welcome anytime

Sunny is a great bloke and I am not saying this just because he is 8ft 2in.

The moral to this story is that constant watching of Liverpool at Anfield will eventually turn you into a raging alcoholic.
