The midfield looks so disjointed when we have the ball, and just sits back lazily when they have it. We really need to increase the pressure on them when we don't have it, and find some width from somewhere when we attack. Which isn't often at the moment.

Of course we need him. The way our midfield is without Mascherano means we require him to be available for most games. Poulsen-Lucas-Aquilani/Cole won't work. I'm quite concerned about our midfield, which was poor last season, and will be worse this if we don't sort it out.
