Spanish starlet Suso wants to return to Liverpool when his loan spell at Almeria expires - and pen a new long-term deal with the Reds. The 20-year-old has impressed in his temporary spell in La Liga, scoring two goals and wracking up seven assists but hopes that he can return to Liverpool a better play and build on the 20 appearances he's already made for the Reds.

In the summer Suso wanted to move away from Anfield in order to get games - and he hopes it means he returns properly prepared for Brendan Rodgers' first-team. He said: " I'm enjoying it a lot. I wanted to play every game this year and get a lot of minutes. Playing in the First Division in Spain is a good experience for me. Next season I'll be a new player. "At the beginning of the season, before pre-season, I was talking with Brendan and we were thinking that the best option for me was to go to a team on loan for a year, improve and learn from other players.

"I didn't want to stay at Liverpool and be on the bench - I wanted to play every game. "It's a dream to play at Anfield every weekend and in the Champions League, it's the best option that can happen. "I would like to sign a new contract with Liverpool and stay there for many years." Suso also lavished praise on his manager - saying that it was just a matter of time before the Reds reaped the rewards from his reign. He continued: "For me Brendan is a really good manager, he always treats the players really well. He tries to get the players on the ball all the time. To play football, you have to have control of the ball and Brendan wants that all the time. "Sooner or later Liverpool were going to be at the top of the league."

Suso made his debut against Manchester United last season and he believes this weekend's match will be an extra-special fixture. He said: "It'll be a really good game. I made my debut against Man United and it was one of the best experiences I've had in my life. There's only one of these types of games in the world. "It was a difficult game but the people, the support, was brilliant."

The Spaniard has been watching Liverpool from afar this season and he reserved special praise for his old youth team team-mate, Raheem Sterling. He said: "Raheem has done really well. He is still very young and he has to improve, as all players have to improve, but he is doing really well - he is scoring goals and giving really good performances. That's important. "Daniel has been really good. For me, Daniel Sturridge and Suarez up front are the best pair in the Premier League. I watch every game; we keep talking and I keep contact with some of the players as well. We stay in touch"

When he becomes one of our best players part-way through next season, he will realise how idiotic it was to have signed a new contract for a fraction of the money that others are on.

FAO Mr. Jose Manuel Reina - please read carefuly. This is the sort of things a player has to say if he wants BR to take him back after a loan spell. ;-)

Well, at least an interview where he isn't saying the wrong things. He's got to be realistic though - there's stiff competition ahead of him in the positions he can play, so if he walks up to Rodgers demanding a commitment on minutes, I think he'll be really disappointed. If he wants a place in the team, he should look at how Sterling and Henderson handled not playing regularly at one point or other under Rodgers.

If we get into the Champions league, he will get opportunities and he'd still got time to come good. He needs to work on his strength and work rate, but he's still a very talented young player

If he's been constantly talking to Rodgers, I'd imagine it's the last thing he would demand.
