Massimo Ambrosini's agent has confirmed that West Ham are in talks with the veteran following his AC Milan release.

The 36-year-old also has offers from Major League Soccer clubs in the United States but agent Moreno Roggi has revealed that neither this nor retirement are options his client is considering.

"Obviously Massimo wants to continue," Roggi told the Calciomercato website.

"His preference would be overseas clubs, but if an offer did come in from an Italian side, we would not ignore it completely.

"At this moment we are in talks with West Ham, while we have already ruled out Major League Soccer."

According to Sky Sport Italia, Spurs have had a €20m for Fredy Guarin rejected by Inter.

The Colombian midfielder recently expressed his desire to stay at the San Siro despite a mixed first season in Italy.

Aston Villa are thought to be leading the race for Nordsjælland defender Jores Okore, who claims he rejected a move to Chelsea.

"I chose to turn it down (the Chelsea offer) as it did not fit the strategy I have for my future," said Okore.

"My biggest wish is to play first team football and that was not something that was on the cards."

GET ON THAT Mr. Rodgers

Reports in the north east claim Sunderland are tracking £8m-rated Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost.

The 24-year-old scored 45 goals in 47 Eredivisie matches for Heerenveen between 2010 and 2012 but found the net only nine times for Wolfsburg last season.

Aston Villa, FC Nordsjælland and Okore have come to terms on an agreement.

The defender will travel to Birmingham for a medical later this week.

Very good buy and apparently at a bargain price of around £3M. Good move for the lad too.

He'll be off to a big club in 2-3 years.

Here are some quotes from Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke on Robert Lewandowski: "Lewandowski should now concentrate on the new season playing for us. Next summer he is welcome to join Bayern. All I know is that Lewandowski wants to go to Bayern. Why should I care about other clubs when all he wants is to go to Bayern."

Guarin was a good player for Porto, but has struggled at Inter.
Wont improve Spurs imho

Gabriele Marcotti has been on TalkSport claiming that Arsenal are indeed in for Fellaini, saying: "He will give them a physical presence

Looks like they're building a good young team.

22-year-old AaB striker Nicklas Helenius could be on his way to Aston Villa. The Danish club has confirmed that negotiations between the two clubs about a transfer are ongoing.

Outscored in the Danish Superliga only by FC Copenhagens Andreas Cornelius it has been widely expected that he'd move on this Summer.

PS Not a player we should be looking at imo - Villa could be a good match.

The club have revealed they are close to a deal for the 22-year-old Dane and expect to complete the transfer by the end of next week.

Villa are hunting more firepower with Darren Bent a target for Newcastle and 6ft 5in Helenius fits the bill.

A Villa statement read: “Aston Villa can confirm that the club are in negotiations with Aalborg BK for the transfer of Danish forward Nicklas Helenius.

"The club expects to conclude the deal, subject to a medical and personal terms, in the next 10 days.

The Danish club must announce the deal on the Stock Exchange, which is why the details are being confirmed now.

And by completing deals early Villa – who are also interested in Danish defender Jores Okore from Nordsjaelland – know they are not going to be held to ransom by clubs later.

Helenius, who came up through Aalborg’s youth ranks, scored 16 goals in the Danish league last season.

He has two caps for Denmark after making his debut against Slovakia last August and was named in the 2012-13 Danish Superliga team of the season.

Helenius will become Villa’s second summer signing after they clinched a £2.5million deal for Aleksandar Tonev from Polish club Lech Poznan last week.

His agent Mads Bach Lund said today: “The overall package looks interesting.”

Sky bet suspended bets on Ezequiel Garay .... Manure it is.

And then this happened:

United shares drop significantly

The share price of Manchester United suffered a 9% hit in one day, with reports suggesting the club's rumoured interest in Ezequiel Garay is to blame.

United's shares closed at $15.16 on Wednesday - a decrease of $1.53 from just 24 hours earlier.

The British media was aflurry with stories of United reaching an agreement with Benfica for Garay on Wednesday and it is claimed the rumours impacted share activity, with holders preparing for a £17 million spend from the English champions.

Financial website Benzigna claimed that "the large cash disbursement for the defender does affect Manchester United's finances, who only reported cash of $113m as of the last filing."

It is believed United's owners, the Glazer family, have a 10% stake of the club listed on the Stock Exchange.

The retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson last month also proved a financial burden, with a 4.5% fall experienced shortly after the Scot's announcement.

Paul Lambert actually inquired on Andreas Cornelius at first but had to look elsewhere because of his price tag that is rumored to be around £8M. Helenius was then his second option.

Helenius is a decent striker, and pretty skilled too despite his stature but he's not Liverpool-standard imo and I doubt he ever will be.

The rumours on Edinson Cavani to Chelsea are getting stronger and a bid is close to being placed, according to Italian website Mediaset this evening.

They believe that Chelsea are willing to pay the 63 million euro buyout clause for the Uruguayan striker and Roman Abramovich is readying his cheque book.
