I'm not - I think Luiz is a great (if somewhat eccentric) player.
Partizan Belgrade youngster Lazar Markovic is in Lisbon to have a medical with Benfica, however, it is claimed that he will be moving on loan from Chelsea and not the Serbian champions.
Chelsea have long been linked with the Serbia international midfielder, and the teenager enjoyed a tour of Stamford Bridge earlier this year when he held talks, although he insisted at the time he had not agreed a deal with the Blues.
Then a few weeks ago it emerged that Benfica were favourites for his signature and he looked set to seal a switch to the Estadio da Luz.
And while Markovic does appear set to sign for Benfica, according to Partizan president Dragan Djuric it will actually be via Chelsea.
Djuric says the Premier League club plan on loaning Markovic - who he says they already own - to Benfica for two seasons, but he hopes that Partizan may get him back at some point.
"It is true, Chelsea will send Markovic out on a loan for two years," Djuric told Sportski Zurnal.
"But I really hope that Chelsea and Benfica will not come to agreement so Markovic will stay with us for at least the next six months."
isn't this lad very highly rated ? did anyone know chelsea own him ? do chelsea know they own him ?
wonder how much they paid for him in the end .
also in fairness to the cunts they're willing to loan out talent for a number of yrs to help their progression , something i don't think we do enough of.

Keisuke Honda is a target for Sevilla, Estadio Deportivo reports. It comes after a host of clubs who are rumoured to be interest in the signature of the Japan star considering his current deal with CSKA Moscow runs out on the 31st December this year.
The paper suggests that AC Milan and los Rojiblancos are the first and only two sides that have made an official contact with Honda, who under contract is valued at £20,000,000 by CSKA. The financial issues, which have been hugely aided by the sale of Jesús Navas to Manchester City, may prove effective but hope within the Sevilla camp believe they can land Honda in the winter, after they failed to convince him almost 3 years ago when he was plying his trade at VVV Venlo, from there he joined CSKA Moscow.
The Japanese international has made 76 domestic league appearances for CSKA in the Russian Premier League, scoring 19 goals in the process.
While I agree we should look to loan out players to aid in their development, I think Chelsea still pay at least part of the wages of these loan players though.
yeah but i could live with that also . I mean there are two types of loans , players who you want rid of but can't sell so loan out to save on wages, get a loan fee and maybe increase/preserve their value (joe Cole, carroll) . For these you obviously want as much of their wage paid as possible. For the younger ones who you hope a loan will aid their progression and long term benefit you , then paying a fair chunk of their wage is ok.
Van Ginkel of the Vitesse fame is Chelsea bound for € 8.5 million, says De Telegraaf .
Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo has moved ever closer to joining Chelsea following a seal of approval by returning boss Jose Mourinho.
Representatives of Omeruo specially informed MTNFootball.com that the young central defender is now “95% certain” to join the English Premier League club after he earned the approval of Mourinho.
“It is now 95% certain that Kenneth will finally team up with Chelsea for the coming season. Mourinho has said he wants to work with Kenneth after watching him at the recent Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa,” disclosed a representative, who declined to have his name in print.
“He watched him against Didier Drogba at the Nations Cup and he said he liked what he saw.
“He will therefore not be heading back to Dutch club ADO Den Haag, where he has spent the last one and half seasons on loan.”
Omeruo’s inclusion on Nigeria final squad for this month’s FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil has enhanced his chances of joining the London club.
MTNFootball.com specially gathered that Chelsea plan to apply the special talent case to get the 19-year-old Omeruo to England, just as they did in the case of compatriot Mikel Obi.
Omeruo will not qualify for a work permit in England as he has not played 75% of his country’s games in the last two years having only made his full international debut against Cape Verde in January.
The young Eagles defender, who has represented Nigeria at U17 and U20 levels, played a total of 26 matches and scored two goals in his time at ADO Den Haag.
Wilfried Bony claims Vitesse Arnhem are blocking a potential move to the Premier League.
He told De Telegraaf: “It is a unique opportunity to play in the Premier League, one of the best championships in the world.
“When the next opportunity arises [to leave] I will fight to get out, I am very angry with Vitesse.
“They made many promises and did not keep them all. Now my goal is to join a top team in Europe.”
Fiorentina have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez, a report in Germany suggests.
Bild claims that the Viola are in pole position for the German international striker, although no deal yet exists between the two sides.
Gomez is looking for a new outfit and he’s also been heavily linked with a possible move to Serie A giants Napoli.
The Tuscans are set to change their attacking line-up next season as Stevan Jovetic has requested a transfer away.
The Viola are ready to sell the Juventus target, although they continue to maintain that they will only accept a €30m cash offer for him.
Hamburg's new director of sport Oliver Kreuzer believes forward Heung-Min Son is about to complete a move to Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
With 12 goals for the orthern Germany club last season, the South Korean has caught the eye of many clubs around Europe with Liverpool and Tottenham very stongly linked, but Kreuzer has revealed that he is close to agreeing terms with Leverkusen.
"We think the transfer will go through in the next few days," he told Sky Deutschland.
"I expect Son to join Leverkusen."
A move for a reported 10 million euros could pave the way for Andre Schurrle's protracted move to Chelsea.
Leverkusen have said they will not let the Germany international go until they have found a suitable replacement, which now looks set to be 20-year-old Son.
With Son's contract due to expire in a year, now would be the last chance Hamburg would have of earning a significant sum for him.
"You have got to look at the sporting value of the player on the one side, and the economic value to the club on the other," added Kreuzer.
Sunderland have been credited with an interest in a player they tried and failed to sign 18 months ago.
In January 2012 Martin O’Neill had a deadline-day bid rejected for Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies.
And now the 36-year-old has been released by the Trotters, Paolo Di Canio is said to be taking another look.
After a terrible season in front of goal, Di Canio is anxious to shake up Sunderland’s attacking resources. And while it would almost certainly only be as a back-up, Davies is one of the options he is thought to be considering.
The notoriously physical frontman won one England cap, under Fabio Capello.
But Championship side Bolton deemed him surplus to requirements last season, and staying in the division seems the most likely outcome, with Sheffield Wednesday also thought to be interested. Davies is a Sheffield lad, although he grew up supporting United rather than Wednesday.
The Black Cats have already lined up two new strikers, in Le Havre’s El-Hadji Ba and Altrincham’s Duncan Watmore.
But Ba is only 20 and Watmore 19. Mikael Mandron, who has been on the bench for all Di Canio’s games in charge, is just 18.
The latter pair in particular are seen as players for Sunderland’s future rather than their present.
Di Canio will want more experience in his frontline, but new director of football Roberto Di Fanti may have to wheel and deal to get him that.
Sunderland have had four goals in return for the combined £10m-plus Steve Bruce paid for Connor Wickham and Ji Dong-won two years ago.
Ji is expected to attract interest from Germany after five goals in 17 appearances on loan at Augsburg in the second half of last season.
But £8m signing Wickham failed to catch the eye on loan at Wednesday.
Di Canio would also like to move on Danny Graham.
Galatasaray have failed in a bid for Nani because Man United want £8.5m for the winger, according to the Turkish club.
The Turkish club's chairman, Unal Aysal, said: "We offered €7million (£6m) for him. But they didn't accept. We can't give more than this.
"We are not going to follow Nani anymore. We can't give more than €7m for him.
"They want €10million (£8.5million). Because of this he is not on our transfer list anymore."
Arsenal are interested in Lorenzo Melgarejo, according to the Benfica defender's agent.
The 22-year-old Paraguayan is valued at £5million and could be one of Arsene Wenger's signings in what will be a crucial summer.
Chief executive Ivan Gazidis has said Arsenal have money to spend and they have been linked with Everton's Marouane Fellaini.
Full-back Melgarejo, who featured in the Europa League final against Chelsea and is also interesting Turkish outfit Fenerbahce, is another possible target but Arsenal have not yet made any offer.
"Arsenal and Fenerbahce have enquired about Melgarejo. But so far there has been nothing concrete," agent Juan Gabriel Appleyard told Radio Monumental.
