Is this one of the best headers you've seen?

As good as Luis Garcia's against Anderlecht? As good as Hyypia's vs Arsenal?

Garcia's edges it for me, the way he gets the power and angle off it.

Both were fantastic goals though

I seem to remember a Morientes header also, was it in the league cup?
Can anyone find the vid?

Suarez's was immense but I think Garcia had more to do so it wins for me.

Plus I was at the Anderlecht game so that in itself makes it better of course.

i've tried v hard to but i really just dunno how to appreciate the beauty of headers. To me, it's all just a bit of 'oh ok'.

still a good goal tho'.

credit to cissokho, brilliant cross that..

Could be a very astute signing that... He is a little rough around the edges, but I like what I see so far..

Looks a bit clumsy on the ball, can't beat a player like Johnson can, but his crossing makes up for it.
Like how he drives the ball, instead of floating it like Enrique.

Do you really think it was a brilliant cross? How would all other players have dealt with a high cross at the edge of the area? How many times would Suarez be able to score like that?
I think Cissokho's a bit shit in the final third.

Enrique is a bit meh going forward.. He had little stint last season and where he was immense, got injured and never really peformed to that level since..

Defensively Enrique is solid though... However I like fullbacks that can get forward... hopefully in time cissokho can improve defensively as going forward he certainly can be a threat...

You can certainly see why Rodgers wanted him, given the formation we now play...

Given the time he had to make it and the quick decision he had to make.. I thought it was excellent... Not a peach, but a great cross all the same..

I thought Johnson only beat his man once in yesterdays game. Could be still getting back to match fitness though.

My perspective as well, what exactly can a player do with a 6 foot high ball fizzed across about 18 yards out. Even trying to bring it down would be a feat.

I prefer Enrique because he's much better at exchange play.

I havent made up my mind yet tbh, which is mainly due to Cissokho having played 180 mins of football for us after being injured and not played in pre season.
But, this is SCM and some people will alreay have made up their mind.

Enrique has probably not done anything to be dropped and if fit I'd start him against Arsenal.
He's better defensivly and we'll need that.

I'm nowhere near making a decision on Cissokho yet.

Had nothing like the minutes be needs to get match fit or acclimatised to the league.

17 yards, with very little pace on the cross?

That's the deciding factor for me.

Truly insane the power he gets on it from there (37mph)

It's hard to beat a keeper from there with your foot never mind your head.

He shitted out a few tackles which was a worry though. Maybe he's wary of injuring himself again but you can't be doing that. He's a big brute of a man too so really no excuses.

There's something there, he has a bit of pace and is a powerful runner. Early days as you say.

I'd still prefer Enrique who has his limitations but overall he's a solid and dependable player imo.

A coward is a coward and that's what he was today.

I had high hopes when I saw him bursting down the wing in his debut away to Villa but he just doesn't seem to know how to position himself defensively and going forward doesn't seem to pick the right ball at all and only seems capable of 1 play. Whip across at nobody in particular from out wide.

What about yesterday, when we played?
