This will be a real test for us. We'll probably see a lot of posession, but Stoke will use every set piece to literally kill us.
Hopefully we'll have a lot of the ball and pin them back. Resulting in long hoofs up to Crouch that wont result in anything.
Owen, Crouch and Adam in the same team, you just know one of them will get a goal.
Think we need to score at least 2 or 3 to win this with our current defensive record. And having watched Stoke away to Chelsea it wont be easy to say the least. We've won 1 of our 5 home games in all comps, adding to last years home fiasco - it will be tough.

It's hugely disappointing that no opponents have taken the piss out of Stoke's towel-drying antics. A player ought to demand the towel, dry the ball thoroughly and incredibly slowly, then throw it to someone no further than a yard from them. Then they should repeat the whole thing two or three more times.

Doubt owen will start. Its normally adam playing as the 2nd striker just off crouch. Pullis, isn't stupid, he knows adam can't play midfield without doing stupid fouls and the opposition running past him being a liability.

I'd be very surprised if Big Charlie didn't get a good reception. Decent player, always worked hard, but he just wasn't good enough for us, as some have said. Always liked the him, the person. Just not the player.
