I certainly don't want him to be constrained into being just someone who goes down the line. Sterling got way more freedom to roam when he was at the same stage (mainly, I guess, because we didn't have a target man for crosses and so all the forward line was much more fluid). Ibe's much more interesting and dangerous when he cuts inside.

Actually he did that a number of times vs. Stoke, coming in as far as the centre of the pitch, so I don't think there's any constriction on his position at all.
