Smack in the face or a kick in the nuts?

Where's the Fergie interview? He has to fulfil his media obligations surely. And I need to laugh more!!!

Well, I have to say that was a very enjoyable evenings entertainment. Fascinating game to begin with - even though Madrid were poor - and a brilliant bit of controversy and an apoplectic Ferguson to round things off at the end. Wonderful.

I do hope Real got knocked out in the next round. Mourinho practically licking Ferguson's ass on the touchline, calling attention to himself by leaving early and then that bullshit in the post-match interview. Fuck me. What a CUNT. Ronaldo too. He might score a lot of goals but he's greedy, selfish and lazy. For all his talent he's not enjoyable to watch.

They've got some player in Varane though. Every time I see him he's been hugely impressive for a young defender. Athleticism, composure, fantastic in the tackle... he seems to have it all.

Mourinho's a complete belljob.

I can't wait for Dreamy to come on and start a thread about how amazing he is.

I have watched the red card incident again a couple of times and still can't fathom how could that not be a red? High foot straight into chest, it's irrelevant if he meant it or not.

So who is the resident SLAP BET COMMISSIONER?

Was going to watch the game after work not knowing the score but cracked and read this thread. Well played everyone. Bayern to win it out right now please.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho: "Man Utd have the mentality of lions. They are aggressive in a good way. They are giants and are fantastic."

fuck sake Jose

I'm still hoping Barca can turn things around against Milan but that's not looking likely given the way they've been playing recently so failing that I'm going to root for Dortmund.

Well, as expected, most fans are blaming the ref for them going out. Not the two goals that madrid scored, no, just the ref knocked them out, single handedly.

Bayern look like the favourites at the moment but things may change come May, and if Barca manage to eliminate Milan and make it to the quarter finals they may still make a comeback and win it.

This little snipe last December was very deliberately placed out there by the manc grandees:

One of the most uncomfortable entries on an ever-lengthening charge sheet was Mourinho's gouging of the eye of Tito Vilanova, then Barcelona's assistant coach, in the 2011 Spanish Super Cup. "A United manager wouldn't do that," Charlton says. "Mourinho is a really good coach but that's as far as I would go really. He's the manager of Real Madrid and we expect to play them in the Champions League by the end of the season."
When it is put to him that it is difficult to imagine a United manager being allowed to get away with some of Mourinho's behaviour, Charlton says: "You are right. He pontificates too much for my liking. He's a good manager, though."
But Ferguson admires Mourinho. "He doesn't like him too much, though," Charlton shoots back.

It made for sober reading for Maureen, and that frankly embarrassing cuddling and chatting to Ginsoak during the match, along with the vomit-tastic post-match genuflection, suggests he's trying way too hard to turn THAT thing around.

He's just a big sulky bulbous nosed childish twat. Like a baby who doesn't get his own way. Has he not died of a heart attack yet?
