What the fuck was he up to yesterday? He is asking for a penalty against us. Holding players, dragging them down and obviously pulling their shirt. What the fuck is he thinking??? We got away with 3 clear penalties yesterday, all of them before we scored. I really hope it is the last time I see something like that. It is unfair and it is illegal. And it is costy. Fucking costy. There is no way we would have got three points yetserday had they been given a penalty to score from first.

If he aint good enough to clear the area in a fair manner he should not play. Fucking Coward Pussy.

You are beeing a bit harsh on Skrtel here especially as the ref allowed a lot of hassle last night - I do however agree he almost looked like he was on a mission to commit a penalty. Christian Poulsen and Carra too in one occasion.

My main isse with Skrtel however is his almost on schedule 10 minutes of strange positioning, stupid give-aways and awful clearing headers. I actually don't think there's a worse header of the ball at Liverpool these days. His timing when he jumps leaves a lot to be desired as well.

That said what a splendid hit of the ball in the first half that ever so nearly sailed into the top-corner yesterday. What a goal that would've been.

PS I know people will accuse me of beeing Pro-Agger hence not-so-much Skrtel but that's simply not the case I just don't think he's got the standards to play week in week out at Liverpool. He's a decent all-rounder but I'm not sure where his real strengths are. He lacks a bit of quality sadly but he's not the only one.

Apart from the swearing and the complete out of order namecalling I do think there's a point in there however.

Skrtel's far to rash in his challenges for my liking and he committed at least two penos yesterday. He committed a blatant one against Rabotnicki that wasn't given either and then his late challenge on Johnson against Cithe.

I do think he's looked improved too but he's still doing my head in as he often seems rather headless in his maneuver and positioning.

He is a decent squadplayer but not one I'd be pleased to see start week in week out. At least not yet.

None of them are dominant in the air and Agger really needs to improve his heading as well.

Hence I was backing us to by a strong, tall and dominant defender in the air and sell Skrtel.

It's probably my fault but it's kind of annoying you can't address defenders qualities or lack of it without turning it into an Agger-bashing thread on here.

TBF, Skittles was terrible for it yesterday. He either had his arms wrapped round players or he was pulling them down by their shirt. Me & Spion were convinced he was gonna give a pen away.
 
We should probably start an 'Agenda' thread and sticky it so any noobs know who not to listen to when they are bleating on about some fucking player or other. It should be easy - The Jews (Benayoun) Scandinavians (Anyone bar Agger) H (Ethnics) etc.

I can mention at least five posters who'll always come out fighting defending Skrtel whenever there's even the slightest of critic going his way. People will always have their favoruite players.

How's that any different?

PS I don't think I've noticed Insig to be particularly Pro-Agger anyways?

Don't think any of the Swedes nor Finnish posters on here rate Agger.

But of course there's some truth in it.

However on a different matter I'd like to say that I thought Poulsen gave a rather insipid display yesterday and he certainly needs to step up his game a notch or two.

I was replying to his post,mate..

He basically said Skrtel was rash, I'm not sure if thats the same as being rubbish..though he probably thinks it does.

Agree that he needs to cut it out, but I think he's playing better now than he has for a while.

Hello to man-2-man marking as opposed to zonal.
