That's my issue.. he just does not seem to know what is his best team, or what system to play with the team he picks.
Sunderland at the weekend was a joke of a game.. The sad thing is, it was more of the same..
'Our performance levels need to improve'. He'd be better not talking after games if he insists on this kind horrible waffle. It needs to be judged at the end of the season, clearly, and in the meantime he needs to show a hell of a lot of humility and show he's trying to learn from his mistakes (and not rely on excuses - in his first season it was 'we have a wafer-thin squad'; now it's 'we've got a bigger squad but apparently it's still wafer-thin'). But he's had some shit luck so far. It wasn't his fault Suarez left. It wasn't his fault Sturridge got injured. We've all got to wait and hope he gets out of the rut.
I guess you'll be waiting until he's got 5 good seasons in the bank before you turn the hate up...

With all due respect (and the shite football we have been playing notwithstanding) we are 5 points of 4th with 2/3rds of the season to play.
We are in the quarter final of the League cup.
We still have the FA cup to start.
We are now in the Uefa cup in the new year.
We have 4 competitions to play in and plenty of the season still to go and our best player to still come back from injury and two weeks off a transfer window.

If we don't get any points from manu and the arse, I think the board will be forced into either going back into the transfer market in January or replacing Rodgers.

Rodgers should start having the team press the opposition, worked well last season. Standing off hasn't stopped the other team from scoring. When we get in the oppositions face we've looked more capable of making something happen in attack. But we've not done it much this season. Weird.
