Just saw RVP missed completely one on one in the Spurs game, so similar to Suarez's miss.
Why is that they score unbelievable goals while wasting the easy ones?
So it is not only the trade mark of Luis Suarez it seems.

True, but it is good to see that Suarez is not the only culprit, and Suarez has scored more than RVP so far this season.

Maybe Suarez has sorted it out a bit. Seems that way. Let's hope so... and that RvP has got worse.

RVP will bang them in this season, United overall are not playing too well though, they're lacking the cutting edge of past seasons though I'm sure it will come, I still think they lack quality in some areas.

The comparison isn't really just, they're different players, RVP is more of a clinical striker. Suarez will still score alot though because he makes that many chances, but yes, he's hit and miss, he'll miss the sitters and score spectaculars everytime.

I am a ABU supporter for now... Anyone But United so I am glad other teams are taking points off them reducing them the chance of another title. So having RvP missing sitters like that pleases me.

I am just hoping that RvP is over the hill (I know, not evidence based but just my sentiment), just like Berbatov, and a few other flops.

Wasn't Berbatov top scorer in the Premiership a couple of years ago ?

He was unloved and unused, not as prolific for MU as was for Spurs. If RvP is the same at MU compared to when he was at Arsenal, it is a win for me. So you are happy that MU continue to get the best players and win the league?

Yes, yes I am.

Van persie has had 1 clinical season, he used to miss a lot of sitters

Y1, just a word to the wise - having your motto in larger type than your posts makes the latter hard to distinguish.

I believe he was the top scorer in the entire league in his first season for scum. Way more prolific than his time at Spurs.
Not the best of examples, and unfortunately Van Persie is amongst the top scorers so far this season as well.

If that is true my memory and bias must be so skewed against Man U. I am sure there are others like Veron etc

for years no-one dare say it. if i do now SOMEONE will pipe up ..."your paranoid...a conspiracy theorist ...a self pitying scouser"

but im gonna say it.....

They are lined up against us....
the press,the fa..the lot.

last season how many of those "could go either ways" went against us?
same again this season...its not just webb either ..its systemic. iv watched so many games in the last 2 seasons where decisions go against us its untrue. I dont want "fergie time" for liverpool either. unlike most utd fans who see it as funny when they win by cheating or with the refs help ...i dont want us to win anything with the slightest whiff of cheating or an advantage. i just want justice and a fair level field.

john terry....come on we all knew he wouldnt get an 8 game ban despite saying "f**king black c**t" to the TV camera.

it started with the press.
when we won the lot in the 80's the press used to say they wished someone else would win for the good of the game.
didnt hear them saying that about utd though did you?
"pissing on the dead etc..." ... think on would that have been printed about utd in the same situation?
then the FA.
Trouble is now though the refs are becoming obviously biased too and its will get worse to the point where not only our own fans can see it before something happens.

Just like we can all see its the opposite down at old toilet..(utd losing you know they will get 5 mins of time to score. Utd winning...no fergie time) itys just too blatant and utds success is to some extent tainted due to this.

If suarez was at utd he'd score shitloads too, cos they create more clear chances than we do.

He'd also get more pens.

i mean ...last season.. how did kenny get a fair crack?
the press were on him from the start..then fergie added his twopenneth and it just got worse with the suarez affair. but among all this kenny did little wrong but got slaughtered by the press and the dumb cant think for themselves fans.

wheres the mention of rooneys well known *beak* problem? The press are keeping that one on the low.

Shitloads of players have beak issues. 9 last year tested positive.

The papers keep schtum in return for the pfa giving them some less inflammatory stories.

The pfa look at it like the players being exposed won't help them stop whereas they & club working together can do.

It's doesn't fit into your conspiracy theory but it's true. The Tony Adams situation would also have been handled like that if he hadn't had agreed to talk to a journo about it which let the others spill the beans.

If rooney does have an issue then I'm sure it's being 'handled' like this. As would Gerrard's or anyone else at our club.

I see that RvP rescued Man U in the CL against a lesser team. Will the PL teams allow or afford him that luxury?

DAMN YOU WIKIPEDIA !!!

Who knows ?

But to suggest Van Persie will be a flop because of one miss, is ever-so-slightly mental.
