Appaz he's demanded 30mill after tax. That about 800grand a week or something stupid before tax?

He just wants to be the highest paid player in the world, don't think he all that fussed where that happens so long as it's in Europe and for a club in the European Cup regularly.

I hate the preening cunt

Neymar is 7 years older, more expensive and widely hated by most football fans. If you were building a team around a new superstar the logical choice would be Mbappe wouldnt it?

Real aren't known for making decisions based purely on footballing reasons.

Neymar is a much bigger star right now and a better player.

If we had the choice, I'd sign Mbappe though.

And it would royally piss off Barcelona and their fan base ... win win for them.

Neymar hasn't got any other choice. He's already been at all the other pissflap clubs. Of anyone who could afford him, Pep wouldn't want him. Bayern wouldn't put up with his bullshit, so Madrid are all that's left. The ultimate wankbag at the ultimate wankbag club. Match made in heaven innit.

Neymar is on some insane money deal with Qatar until after the world cup to act as ambassador for the World Cup. He would probably lose that if he leaves PSG. Real would have to pay him twice what Ronaldo earns.

2m shirt sales and the fee is paid.

And that will probably happen in about a week.

Absolute no brainer for Juventus.

Makes Italian league even more fucking dull like.

You have to wonder if
Celtic, Juventus, Bayern, PSG will ever lose their league titles again.

Probably Barca too given Madrid are fucked now

I think Madrid are very wise in doing this now - he's 33 and they got 100 mill for him.

The question is ... how they replace him ... If they do it the right way, not like us post Suarez, they'll be fine.

Clubs get like sub 5 percent of shirt sale revenue , so a few more than 2m shirt sales needed ..

Yeah £100m is mad money , probably also means Salah/neymar etc have all added a fat chunk to to their values too

I bet you a billion squids that clubs like Juventus and Madrid get more than 5% of their shirt sales.

Think Atletico could make a good run at the title this year.

Yeah, youre right. Adidas pay them the best part of a billion over 10 years and also give them a fat wedge of shirt sale revenue - lol

True - everyone can read into the selfish, diving, Neymar now. His ego must be at an all time low watching the young Mbappe progressing to the final and failing himself to even reach the semi-final.

I know it’s Ronaldo and all but 100m for a 33 year old is insane.

Its relative though. Compared to somebody paying €100m for Mbappe last year its lunacy but each summer seems to take another leap forward in fees. By the time we get to Sept it may look reasonable.

Nothing is going to happen that will make paying 100m for a 33 year old reasonable.
