Brazilian news outlet esporte.com have reported that former Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho is being lined up to join his old teammate Lucas at Liverpool following the ending of his contract at Atletico Mineiro.

Ronaldinho's brother and agent has apparently been in early negotiations with the English-based club and indicated that he would be willing to sign on a short-term deal on a lesser wage in order to have one more shot at a title in a country that eluded him for many years.

The arrival of would see ticket sales soar, the Liverpool board believes, and along with the signing of Samuel Et'o, FSG see a front line that would drive merchandising sales for Liverpool through the roof in Brazil, and be a front line of experience that could scare teams for years to come.

Should the deal happen, it would be the former Barcelona star's seventh stint at a legendary club, after turning out in the past for many European Greats. Both he and Samuel Et'o are expected to provide back up to Sturridge and Lambert

We'd only be signing him to do keepy ups pre-match and at half time to entertain the fans.... right?

How old is he now? Although our last South American with big teeth wasn't bad...

After all the praise of Coutinho the brain Heenan, he's been planning to fuck him off to the bench for Ronaldinho all along. Rodgers is an ace dude in my book.

Please don't do this to me - is there an inch of my 90 inch cock that this could be remotely true ?

How was this 12 years ago?!?

It says 'on low wages'. If that's true, then I have no problem with it.

We still have a squad that needs players, so an experienced player on a low wage is always good.

Plus, he's Ronaldinho! FUCKING RONALDINHO!

He was the most entertaining player I've ever watched. Watching him over the last several years has been a sad experience though. Why do Brazilians always have to go fat and shit!

It's a shame Suarez isn't Brazilian, in a way.

It is a shame that - nearly all the ones that were once good who come from the same type of background have that same story. I sometimes wonder how great they really could be if they just tried. I mean what we see of them at their peak is mainly without them actually trying hard.

Aww. I don't wish Suarez any ill. I'm hoping he tears shit up at Barca.

Real are looking ridiculously strong though.

Keni

Dont' you feel that despite these teams being strong (i.e. Barca, and Real) - if they face us we would give them a fucking good kicking ? - I just have a feeling we are going into this season to win everything and just might do so.
