Brazilian news outlet esporte.com have reported that former Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho is being lined up to join his old teammate Lucas at Liverpool following the ending of his contract at Atletico Mineiro.
Ronaldinho's brother and agent has apparently been in early negotiations with the English-based club and indicated that he would be willing to sign on a short-term deal on a lesser wage in order to have one more shot at a title in a country that eluded him for many years.
The arrival of would see ticket sales soar, the Liverpool board believes, and along with the signing of Samuel Et'o, FSG see a front line that would drive merchandising sales for Liverpool through the roof in Brazil, and be a front line of experience that could scare teams for years to come.
