Reina - 8 (10 for the record, top keeper and we are lucky to have him times indefinetely).
Johnson - 7 Getting back to his best ways. Looked far better defensively today than for a long time but was obviously beeing told by the gaffer not to attack to much at least untill we were comfortable in the lead. It probably helped him a bit in the back even though he's better IMO when allowed to bomb forward more
Skrtel - 6 Shaky start with loads of misplaced passes and strange fumbles. Still not convinced at all. Good assist though and got better as the game went on
Kyrgiakos - 7 Beast in the air and clearly shows why Sami has been dearly missed in that department. Whomever we are buying for defense he'll better be as good in the air as this Greek chap.
Konchesky - 7 Definitely his best game in a Liverpool shirt and miles better than his counter-part in the ohter end I might add. Looked fast, determined and rather assured. Good game.
Kuyt - 4 As been said worst performer tonight. Awful touch and handling from first to last.
Raul - 8 Looked very assured once again and has made the place his own. When Gerrard comes back it's vital that he isn't beeing moved back out on the right. Would be a disaster.
Lucas - 8 Out of his last five games he's been good to great in four of them and he has - no matter how surprised we are - improved his game rapidly under Roy Hodgson. Bossed midfield alongside Ming.
Maxi - 7 Has been a very important figure of late and it's extremely important for us with players that are keeping possession and the ball moving as fine as Maxi does. Great goal capped another decent performance that probably would've been better had he been freezing less.
N'Gog - 7 Got another mark for the goal and one for his work-efforts as well, as he went AWOL for larger parts of the match. He did however score a very important and well taken first goal and that's one of the finest traits for a striker. Goals. I've always had a soft spot for him and he's improving still. Happy for him.
Babel - 8 For a second game in a row he gets my MOTM vote. That's certainly a first but I can't remember watching a Babel add so much grit and effort to his otherwise classy and direct game ever before. As someone said that was a Premiership-worthy performance for the big lad and I'm probably as pleased for him as Oncy and Spider. Tonight at least he showed why some of us has been (blindly)? defending him in the past. Keeps my fingers crossed that he can build from here because if that's possible for him we don't need another striker come January.
All in all a great win and ANOTHER performance we as fans can cheerish. Good one Roy. You looked confident already on beforehand and something tells me he's gaining momentum at the training-ground as well as with the fans.
