Our away form is pretty shit for a team that wants to challenge for a title. So its not that simple.

According to Reddit, we’ve played 3 of the 4 hardest away fixtures already. That must account for our it, surely?

No Ali though. We seem to cough up at least one great chance that he bales us out of
Yeah no Ali but we have too much at home, far too much.

Fulham are very blunt up top, don't see Kelleher being a busy boy at all.

It's the Chelsea draw that fucks me off the most. Should have battered those cunts

But, Chelsea was first game for brand new midfield. Ok result.

If not for Spurs VAR debacle, we would be top.

My top 3:
Getting shafted by the refs against Spurs
Not turning up at Luton.
Gravenberch miss of the year candidate against Brighton.

Yeah the Grav miss proved to be very costly but we were 2-1 up at the time and the goal we conceded cannot happen & that was on Robbo.

But among those was dropping points to Luton and throwing away a two goal lead at Brighton. Incompetence played a part, too.

I would like to humbly ask the football gods for goals for Nunez and Szoboszlai tomorrow. Nunez is playing well, but hasn’t scored in 5 games and if this run continues much longer it could affect his confidence. Szobo came off the boil in the last few weeks, hopefully he can get back on a horse soon and a goal should help.

———————-Kelleher———————
————-Matip————Van Dijk———--
—-Trent—-——-Alexis——-——Tsimikas
———Szoboszlai———-Jones————
Salah—————-Nunez—————-Diaz

SUBS: Pitaluga, Gomez, Konate, Quansah, Endo, Gravenberch, Elliott, Gakpo, Doak

Maybe not from the start in this game (since Gakpo played 90 minutes on Thursday), but I would love to see Salah-Nunez-Gakpo front 3 in action sometime. With Tsimikas and Gravenberch/Jones providing width, Gakpo can play more like an inside forward/almost a #10, which will suit him and the team, I think. Eventually that could become our best front 3.

Throwing away a 2 goal lead against Brighton was last season wasn’t it?

This is the season we let everyone score first.

Look at the quality of that bench and that's without Robbo, Jota and Thiago. We've come a long way since the dark days of early last season.

Gravenberch miss of the year candidate against Brighton.

Nunez miss against Luton was another candidate.
