Well yean it is obvious they'd be knocking about, but as I figured there may still be a load of people searching for tickets thought it was worth posting here.
 
We are defo going to score at least 2 goals. I really really hope the back line is on top form. TAA needs support from Milner on Ronaldo. Interesting that Bale is fit again, could cause trouble too.

Does anyone else think there is a slim chance that Klopp starts Clyne at RB?

Nope, Arnold is crucial to our attacking play, and Klopp clearly trusts him. In any case, Clyne has looked lacklustre so far.
 
If klopp plays clyne, it's akin to Rafa leaving out crouchy

Opposing managers have planned for it for months...very few have found a solution.

I think Real will play like they did against BM, get men behind the ball and concede possession and try to hit us on the counter. I am not confident of a win, and if we do lose it won't be such a downer but if we win I'll be on such a high.
 
I thibk its gonna be a fucking rollercoaster of a game & it's gonna be tight as fuck.

They're better at crosses, their passing percentages are higher, their midfield domination is better as well as their tackling & winning balls from the middle of the park & they're better at converting set pieces.

We're better at defending at the back, winning the ball at the back & upfront, better at converting chances from all over & better at pacy counter attacks (but only just).

It's exceptionally even.

I think we'll pick holes in them much better than BM did though. They can get men behind the ball, but if we press as we can do, then they will struggle at the back. The best thing they can do for us is to sit back, because we'll pressure them into mistakes.

If they do that, then dont be surprised if he pulls what many people will think is a mental move & throws solanke in the midfield.
 
I'm normally (quietly) confident that we can beat anyone over 90 minutes. That said, Real always seem to turn up for the big game and they have knocked out some good teams this season.
 
I suspect TAA is going to be in for a torrid night and will be massively targeted, lets hope he steps up and gets some cover.

Yep. If we're struggling to break them down with half an hour to go then that pace & direct play from the middle whilst they still have the front three to worry about may make a big difference.

Of course it'd also depend on how the midfield is coping.

First leg against BM and second leg to a lesser extent, Marcello was repeatedly AWOL.
 
I think with Robben fit, Bayern wouldv'e won that tie.

Anyways, it's really hard to call this one.

I think a lot of people are underestimating this Real side. For example, they have the talent to evade our press and pin us back... it's not all about counter-attack vs counter-attack.
