Was I?

*Looks at league table*

I think he means in general, as in you laid into him for years, when he clearly had a successful career, became a club legend and won some important silverware. He did well last year too, if you stop being so fucking revisionist, he was at the end of his career and came in and steadied the ship for a good while. Stop being such a nobhead.

Super atmosphere, great vibe around the club.
And I hate him as a player, but I thought Glen Johnson was almost unplayable today. The best performance I've ever seen him give.
I've never seen a team or a club with such team spirit, when they are all hugging and shit they actually look like they mean it!!

Despite being destroyed by Liverpool over two games this season Sherwood still favours their rivals for the title.

"I would still go with Manchester City," he added.

"Liverpool have done a fantastic job, from last season to this is chalk and cheese. They are still in this race.

"The players they have in the final third are sensational. They run and graft. If they tighten up a bit I think they have a good chance."

Liverpool have transformed themselves this season to become title contenders and Sherwood is full of praise for Brendan Rodgers and the job he has done.

"They certainly look a different team, and Liverpool Football Club and brendan Rodgers take a lot of credit, but we have to pick the boys up," he continued.

Looks like Carra didn't give Brendan enough credit. He could have really gone out on top this year 🙂

Next time Coutinho makes a brilliant tackle, I eagerly await Modo pointing out to us that he shouldn't really get the plaudits, coz yer know, Skrtel does it every week.

Oh, and it's nice to see my prediction about the team, and the lack of a need for Allen OR Lucas was bang on. I'm still waiting for Lucas to be "playing most games" now that he's back.
I wreckon you could have picked any midfield today and we'd have won spurs were that bad

I knew I'd be opening a can of worms by mentioning Flanno.

Reminds me of all those discussions about Carra.
In fairness I thought flanno was out of position a few times and played some sloppy balls, but when you make the 2 toughest tackles of the game and 1 of them is the tackle of the weekend on the edge of your box when your opponents star striker is in on goal then you deserve a positive comment or 2.
His sharp turn, run and release to Countiho was superb and he was part of a back line that kept a clean sheet against a top 6 side. 7 is the minimum he should get.
Judging by your comments Agger should get a 6. He didn't do anything exceptional and got caught out badly a couple of times. Yet you have him a 7. Your scores aren't consistent

Or I could've put this way.

Sour grapes from sherwood it sounds.

Not surprised as I'm sure he's really feeling it and probably knows he gone now.
A. Because he's woefully out of his depth
B. because everyone but him knew this from the start and he's just beginning to realise this.
C. They've already lined up his replacement.

Poor lamb.

It might have been the early goal that knocked the stuffing out them but I was really surprised at the lack of fight they showed and just how bad they were. Amusing given their group hug just before the kick off.

It was a good performance today but nothing amazing. It didn't need to be. After we got the second goal the team seemed to relax and still could've ended up the game having put 6 or 7 past them.
