Is it me or is the lack of any takeover news / Manager news a positive thing? It's easy to ignore the vulture press - Nothing concrete has come out of the club or players apart from some laughably suspect comments from Gerrard to some Spanish newspaper.....
The press everyday are proving time and time again that they know nothing and are resorting to making up quotes and links etc regarding players. So far I have seen no solid quotes from players - other than Agger pledging his support (good lad) Gerrard and Torres saying nothing until after the WC. Mascher voicing his desire to leave has been the most convincing so far and I accept he will probably leave.
However I love the fact that it's all a bit quiet on any 'real' news - It strikes me of a return to 'keeping things behind closed doors' - This seriously has to be of King Kenny's doing. That's how it was done when he was in charge. Classy and dignified - I just feel something is going on and in this regard i feel silence is golden. I hope I'm right 8)
