Going wide anyway.

And shows that he should have tried using the correct arm against Belgium.

was great, though yeah.

It was amazing how tiny the 'keepers looked last night in the shootout, compared to the Croatia-Denmark shootout where both 'keepers looked fucking huge in goal.

Fucking LOL

“My big fear at Everton was that eventually a club the size of Real Madrid would come along & want to get him, offering around £60million.”

EFC’s former Director of Football Steve Walsh (& others) on soaring value of England’s number one.

It was a fantastic save and he's a very good young keeper. Given where we're at, I'd love a bit of that.

We've got Belgium's number two and Germany's....er........well, maybe number four?

But then Germany is full of boss keepers, as any fule kno

Being Englands nr 1 goalkeeper in the WC isnt exactly the biggest achievement.
And after having watched Pickford for Everton this season I wouldnt want to sign him, even though some seem to have changed their minds after one great save.

The Bundesliga have several boss goalkeepers.

Good save. But the resulting corner led to a goal, so ultimately a meaningless good save

A keeper who’s sky high on confidence after that save plus penalties is a better one to have than one that’s now. It might turn out to be important.

Everton now have the best goalkeeping coach on earth. I'd expect him to improve dramatically over the season

It didnt help the Watford and Hull goalkeepers mind. Oblak, Courtois and De Gea were all insanely talented.
Pickford is, well, Pickford.
